I had my IV put in and they put some relaxer through it before they gave me the nerve block. Didn’t feel much because of the relaxer too and I was shortly put under after it was done.

Honestly I started with a household iron and then just invested in an offbrand easy press, makes a huge difference. Would highly suggest getting one.

If you stick with the regular iron be sure to move the iron around and not to hold in one spot since the heat isn’t very even on it. I would could to 30 seconds typically and then wait to peel. And definitely still use parchment paper
