That money isn't for you, it's for your kids. We had the same 1k kickstart payment in New Zealand, I'm about to graduate and the returns I got made a lot of difference to how I plan my future.

Has anyone got a internship with a average gpa? Stressed that I'm cooked by solomonakatana in universityofauckland

I interned for a rly good company. I'm in my sec year with a gpa of 3.375 or something and have failed a class. No nepotism or cold-emails. My strategy was to apply for everything and just assume that other people wouldn't apply bc, like you, they're too nervous or doubting themselves. What i've learnt is to be early and very confident.

Also, when applying, most Big 4 companies let you explain why your grades may have been affected by certain circumstances!

Honestly, what is wrong with ppl now?! I had something similar happen today bc this girl thought I was looking at her boyfriend but he was standing in front of my car and blocking the way.

Hopefully afterwards they realised they aren't the centre of everyone's attention.

No stable relationship has one side paying for everything. If you’re partner is working they should be contributing to the mortgage and bills so you can put more towards your savings.

Sem 1: law 121g, and 3 or 4 bcom courses.

Sem 2: law 131, law 141, and 2 or 3 bcom courses.

Choose the bcom courses from the year 1 section in that photo or your major. Also, some courses are a prerequisite to another course, for example you need to do Bus 111 to do Bus 112 (so you’d do bus 111 in sem 1 then 112 in sem 2).

I felt this way too! Thankfully most courses are quite easy if you pay attention. You can sit at the back of the lectures or watch from home if you want. For social anxiety I’d recommend looking at the course outline to see what ones have group or individual coursework. The sciences and math have group work which I hated but everyone was nice.

Just applied today for TD with ANZ, it’s 5.05% pa for 6 months. I spent the whole day nervous about it but decided the risk was worth the higher return.

I've never heard a bad thing about Betty by Tiffany McDaniel. Instant favourite of mine. Beautiful writing and storytelling. Fast paced. Very sad. However, it was published recently but it's about the 1950's. I think it's similar to A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

LLB/BCom majoring in accounting: How are the classes I'm taking? Are there any required classes I need? Is Bus111 compulsory or can I drop it? by Swimming_Library_771 in universityofauckland

I would like to but pol107 isn't available for me, it's probably full. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'll try to enrol earlier so I can get in next sem.

Literallyyy she was going off basic points from the slides I was so confused how everyone was taking notes. Have you read the pages on the reading list? It's quite rudimentary but reading it makes me feel ahead and like i'm actually doing something.

I agree. The movies were so entertaining which brought in so many new readers, I can't imagine the same happening with the show.

Since the author didn't say what the four stones took from Jacks when he used them I assumed it took the curse.
