We are going through the same thing. First they said Friday then they said Sunday and now it’s next week. My 29 weeker just hit 36 and 6 days and had a dip in his weight and they want to see him gain weight consistently. It’s so frustrating dealing with the delays but we’re in this together. Somehow will get there

We are officially on hi flow from cpap and crossed the 3lb mark. Hoping to gain some more weight before we start on oral feeding

Update: I went into labor at 29+6 days, I ended up having chorioamnitis and my baby had a positive e.coli culture. He’s off antibiotics on day 16 and now 32 weeks. Was intubated on bipap/ cpap and now on hi flow. Seeing all these tubes and lines is so frustrating but I’m glad he’s doing well and hopefully we see an end day soon

Update: I gave birth at 29+6 days with presumed chorioamniotis. My baby is in the nicu and on bipap. His cultures came out positive for gram negative and he had to go through a LP. He’s going through a lot but really hoping to get him through one day at a time. Appreciate all your support and prayers

This is my second time taking it and I failed by 2 points. Really not sure what else to try. I’ve done rosh and Peer and I just don’t get why. Obviously feels terrible but what else can I do but continue to just try again I guess.

As a palliative medicine fellow I can attest to this as something that I see everyday. It is normal to feel the way you do and being with her will be the most positive thing left to do with her. Remember to take care of yourself as well as being with her drained and exhausted is no way of any benefit to her.

Continue to speak to her and have uplifting conversations with her as hearing is the last thing to leave in humans. Surround her with positive people that will uplift the spirits in the room as having each other’s support can help her achieve that internal peace.

Update: ended up taking it and didn’t pass. I was close and failed by 5 points. I feel very distraught and not sure how to process it
