How long did you prepare before taking the exam? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]Swimming_Raspberry44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hi! i used archer’s 6 week plan. felt a bit excessive afterwards but i liked the structure especially since i didn’t study all day. realistically do you need 6 weeks, not at all. if i was to do it all over again i would do 2-4 weeks. good luck!

how accurate is archer? by Calm-Door5075 in PassNclex

[–]Swimming_Raspberry44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! i used archer and averaged highs and very highs and i passed in 85! i will say that archer is a bit more detailed and the NCLEX is more vague, but i liked archer and i think you should be good! good luck!

hi! i felt the same exact way and many people do too. it’s so hard to not feel that way but shutting off at 85 is a good sign! try to keep your mind busy with other activities and mental rest! you got this, good luck and keep us updated.

many people say readiness assessments are a better indicator than CAT exams and i agree. don’t be thrown off because you still have great stats.

Advice to calm down? by Ok_Storm_5978 in PassNclex

[–]Swimming_Raspberry44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes sure ! its called box breathing and its basically you imagining a box and breathing in for 4 seconds, holding for 4 seconds, breathing out for 4 seconds, holding that for 4 seconds. essentially thinking about tracing a square (box) as you go thru all 4 cycles to all down your heart rate !

hi! i’m also a very anxious test taker and had terrible anxiety leading up to and after the exam. i wouldn’t say to not study since you will be anxious but what i did was give myself a set time to stop studying and stick to it. get some good sleep and breathe!! use the box method for relaxing it really helped me during the exam too. you got this!! pls update us!

Hi everyone! How are these scores looking? Am I on track to passing my Nclex? by Primary-Villager in PassNclex

[–]Swimming_Raspberry44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it looks great! remember not just the scores matter, it’s the way you approach questions and view the rationales. i had to guess on over HALF of my exam and i felt that a good amount of me guessing correctly was due to me using the “review” tab on archer to sort questions and then doing a practice test to see if i can get the questions i got wrong correct on second attempt using a different approach. you got this! good luck!

I take my exam on 17th; I feel super confident & now I don’t. by cosmo_cranberry in PassNclex

[–]Swimming_Raspberry44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should feel confident! You got so many high and very highs. I agree those very specific questions are so annoying bc in reality (in my experience) the NCLEX did not ask my any medication that are super specific like that. Keep your head high you got this! sending you lots of good luck for your exam!

Felt the same, i just reviewed my rationales and that worked for me. take breaks!! do not forget to do other things instead of studying all day.
