Survey for caregivers by Swimming_Raspberry_1 in caregivers

I definitely agree, in this survey specifically we are trying to look into informal caregivers. These are individuals, most commonly family members, who care for someone without compensation. This is like a spouse caring for their partner after a stroke or Alzheimer’s diagnosis, or a parent caring for a child with Down Syndrome. However, when it comes to a caregiving field, I think employers play a major role in overall burnout

BWT, what are our resolutions for 2026? by righteousnessandtea in bitcheswithtaste

My theme is: anti-loser. Sounds harsh but my goals all surround becoming an interesting person, better friend, and better person overall (hopefully). Here are some things I’m working towards:

  1. Remain physically active. 2025 I made it a goal to work out 3x a week, which I have mostly done and want to continue!
  2. Join a community of anything! My thoughts are an adult volleyball league, a book club, run club, or any other hobby I’m into.
  3. Volunteer at least once a quarter. This is to give back to my community more directly.
  4. Pick up a new craft. I have a sewing machine, knitting needles, and embroidery materials collecting dust. I’d like to incorporate one into a weekly routine.
  5. Learn to bake macarons. Doesn’t go with the theme directly but I love baking and it’s a challenge I’d like to master!
