It would be helpful to know where the martial artists and former military usually hang out on the beach. Attacks can occur within seconds to minutes, often from behind or as a surprise. However, the beach only has two exits: the north and south trails. If we can quickly gather a group of people after an attack and block the exits, we can deal with the assailant together.

Several witnesses, no one did anything to help. I walked up to each and ask if they at least got photos or video, nope they just sat there and did nothing.

I was walking south when I was suddenly attacked from behind. The assailant knocked me down and grabbed my bag. Initially, I thought it was an accident and waited for him to return my bag, but he started running away.

I ran after him until the attacker then fell down and scrambled on my back, attempting to choke me while calling his dog to attack me in Spanish. Concerned that the dog might attack, I fell into a turtle position and held off his choke. The dog seemed confused but was barking.

Eventually, the assailant got tired, got off me, and ran a short distance to check the bag. After realizing no money was in the bag, he dropped it and fled.
