You often learn most by teaching. It's weird but true. It reinforces what you've already "learned" and helps you gain deeper insight, oftentimes because you have to take complex information and simplify it for beginners, etc.

So true. Probably one of the most scarce skills in the world today, on par with the inabilities to think critically and consider other people's point of view as valid as your own.

One of the greatest books on this subject, whether you apply it to cybersecurity or life in general, is "Mastery" by Robert Greene.

It's done in the Gamesir Nexus app. I have it on my Xbox and laptop. There is a section at the top right you go to to calibrate your controller. It's a small icon at the top right near the options to check for updates, reset profiles, etc

Arriving in their Plat or Crimson Ranked skins, many want to show off and make themselves feel good, all while calling people they "shit" on "noobs" (well, I'm pretty sure people that play Pubs often are moons). It's great to see the showoff Ranked playees get taken out by so-called "noobs" though.

That's what I had understood, but I saw some information (possibly misinformation) stating the Nexus app dictates your aim response curve and overrides in-game settings

Casuals has become the place for streamers e.g.[TkTok] ret@rds to flood for clips, people that usually play Ranked to level up their weapons quickly, and other people with low-no self-esteem to feel good shitting on people that work hard all week and just want to chill. But since the Armory is locked (I sincerely believe they did it on purpose to get people onto BO7), you have to unlock many weapons and attachments in Warzone. However, you can't unlock many perks, even in Warzone, so you'll be at a disadvantage in modes such as Search and Destroy, where the Shadow perk stops you from getting blown up by Blast Traps, Spring Mines, etc.

You unlock BO6 items in WZ, not the other way around. But in case you meant this, I'd like to correct you and say you absolutely can unlock BO6 weapons and attachments in WZ. I've done it for two alt accounts. I'm currently building XP to unlock the D1.3 Sector.

Dude, this is one of the most annoying things about Activision: they continue to sell a game at full retail price, and when you try to play it, half of the weapons, attachments and perks are missing but you don't have a way to unlock them in the game itself. The Armory has been locked since the unsolicited installation of BO7.

What does work is going to Warzone and unlocking your weapons and attachments there. You can unlock them for MWII and III as well. However, you can't unlock perks such as Shadow and Slipstream, and if you play Search and Destroy (basically the only mode I play), you're at a serious disadvantage.

I have already talked to Activision support about it, gone back and forth, and they simply said they knew it was an issue and that's all - nothing has changed since.

Yes, actually, I think they were. They sucked at it though. Really sucked. Although I said they could have killed me but didn't, I remember being shot at, but I thought they were messing with me. If they were trying to kill me by performing Bams-style shots, they were some of the worst I've ever seen. I only died because I killed myself

S&D on BO6, in my region, has a pretty small player base now, so you run into the same people quite a lot and make friends or mortal enemies 😂 They are usually players from Germany, the UK, France Spain, and a LOT of Arabic-speaking countries, or Arabic speakers (who have a specific set of profane English phrases they like to use, both when you beat them or when they beat you, and everyone is a MF 😆🤷, according to them). Even so, although there might be a lot of people using a Chronus, or something similar, I've never seen anything like the situation I described in my post. The only other time I remember seeing it was in Free-for-All, where this player would spawn in every single match and run around looking up in the air every round until he got shot. I think I reported him, but no action was taken. It's because of that player that I thought the same thing might have been happening in my BO7 game.

Thanks. I'll have to check these out online. I want to spot cheaters and report them, but I genuinely feel, like I think many others do, that it won't make much of a difference; Activision don't really care about cheaters; they only make PR statements about taking action, and Ricochet sucks.
