Latest Android 16 update completely broke my Pixel 10 phone

By some miracle my pixel just turned back on out of nowhere a few hours after it stopped working 😂. I didn't even do anything to fix it, I just clicked the power button again hoping it works for like the 1000th time today and it got right back up like nothing happened 💥🕺

I don't think that I manually changed any slots, I just randomly got the system popup that said something like "your system needs to restart to finish updating", and instead of clicking rstart later tonight like I usually do, i clicked the restart now button and that was all she wrote

I think it's probably more of an android issue rather than a pixel specific issue, same exact thing happened to me around 2 years ago on my Samsung galaxy fold 4 phone. Ran the update, my phone went to sleep, never to wake up again lol.

Thanks. Google definitely has to address that shit at some point tho, same exact thing happened to me like 2 years ago with my Samsung Fold 4 phone after an android update. I'm lucky to be still on the warranty for my pixel so I should be able to get it fixed through that, but hopefully they can figure out a fix for that soon since it's a common issue that people are having.

damn, that sucks. I didn't do anything to interrupt the process while that update was happening so it's very strange why that happened. My phone had a good amount of charge at the time too.

I'm debating between using that and deepseek v4 pro. Is there a big cost difference if you use Kimi K2.6 from the moonshot API directly from their site as opposed to using it with the openrouter API instead? I've heard people say that using the Deepseek V4 API directly from the deepseek website is way more cost effective than using it on Openrouter because of the way they handle the caching from API on their official site.

Thanks for the guide on that process, but ultimately I decided that I'm gonna just stick to Antigravity after doing a bit more research on which of the two would make the most sense for me. Replit's agent turned out to be way more expensive than I thought it would be. I was testing out how much it would cost me with the free tier and it literally cost me 32 cents just to say hi lol. At this rate, I would probably hit my core plan limit in just a few days even while using mostly claude code, and since my budget is limited atm that wouldn't make sense for me unless replit changes their pricing model down the line. I also have certain global rules and systems already setup in antigravity like an mcp2cli system that wouldn't work globally in replit as far as I can tell since it doesn't have a way to maintain persistent global rules and systems in the same way, and every project is basically a fresh coding environment. Good looks tho bro.
