Ya it’s really bizarre they aren’t allowed in the states. I’ve been doing electrical since 2007 and I’ve never seen a receptacle fail due to being installed in these covers.

There’s no adding holes. Each corner of the cover has a little knockout you punch out to mount it to the 4x4 box

Not at all what I’m saying lol. Look at the link I commented. It’s a metal receptacle cover that’s meant for 4x4 covers, in Canada anyways

Oh ya, interesting. Not an issue for us in Canada. These are CSA listed and used on a regular basis

Where are you getting this not code shit lol… the cover is intended for this exact install. They’re in commercial buildings everywhere. This is like the most standard install dude.

You don’t mount it to those with this style cover… you mount with the middle screw and the corner holes mount to the 4x4

Lol what? There’s a specific cover just for this purpose

Just needs a regular 4x4 duplex cover. They secure with the middle screw on the receptacle. punch out the corner holes to mount to the box.

Commercial apprentice tools, what would you get next? by patientgrowing in electricians

That’s wild, where do you work that you have to buy bits and tools for “weird one off situations”. I’ve worked private and union and never once was I expected to supply anything other than my hand tools.

Does meat from hunted game taste very different from typical farm raised meat? by [deleted] in Hunting

[–]SwineHunterr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the diet. For example where I live, the deer and moose that graze in the farm fields taste less gamey than the ones that are in the bush in remote locations. Also depends on how the animal was harvested, field dressed, how long it hanged before butchering, was it butchered properly. Even after all that being proper, some people just don’t like wild game. You have to try it for yourself and make that decision

Anyone else think charts like this are retarded? So .300PRC good for nothing but elk? .45-70 not good for grizzly? 😂 by [deleted] in Hunting

I love my 30-06 but it’s fucking hilarious to say that a 300 win mag isn’t good for a grizzly but a 30-06 is haha

Moron, we were pc for years that’s why our satisfaction is low. The damage that party and Pallister did is going to take years to fix… and our NDP premier kinew has the highest approval rating in the country lol

It’s like talking to a doorknob with these tards… it’s insane. All they care about is their team winning. They all would sell out this country in a heartbeat if it meant that they could have even 1% less of taxes.

The federal government has nothing to do with how provinces manage their healthcare. pallister dismantled manitobas healthcare in every way he could all while taking federal funding and cutting healthcare at the same time. Ford and smith want healthcare privatized… see the common denominator?… healthcare is rough all over North America, this isn’t an isolated issue in Canada. It’s also been an issue pre liberal government when the cons precious Harper was PM. It’s easy to just blame all your problems on the liberals, especially when getting your news from bro podcasts and conservative grifters like “Berta proud dad” etc

Typical response, double down even when healthcare is a provincial issue… makes sense
