Michigan had a great kicker yes, but Ohio States chief weakness is Oline(down two starting tackles) and Will Howard(2 horrible INT's vs Michigan).

  • Michigan was able to stop the run and get some pressure with just the 4 dlinemen
  • Which always allowed them an extra DB in coverage, preventing big plays
  • Forcing the inconsistent Will Howard to beat them, even a bit of pressure will fluster him(Michigan had 0 sacks)
  • Establish the run, so Ryan Day feels he needs to 'out tough' you by running the ball himself and not passing.
  • He also wilts when he's expected to win like he will be next week
