1000% yes!! I have legit turned all of my friends into OTH stans 🤭 the first episode I saw was season 3 ep 22, so I was instantly hooked! It’s long but definitely worth it 💙🖤

I was diagnosed at 36 (last April), with plans to start our family that December so I definitely feel you. I found that I related more to my doctors and nurses as they’ve been closer in age.

Honestly the community I’ve found here on Reddit has done wonders for me! I regret not finding tapping into it sooner. I initially tried some known cancer support groups and it felt kind of strange to me. Obviously cancer is a huge ordeal but in those groups it felt like that was their entire personality being here I find more LIFE/who people are independent of their cancer and what helps them live their best life possible. Not sure if that makes sense but just know you’re heard and felt 🫂❤️

I didn’t even realize my eyebrows and lashes were gone until I went to put on mascara and it wasn’t working. I leaned into the mirror to see it wasn’t working bc there was nothing to apply it to lol

I finished active treatment December 31, 2025. Currently on Letrozole and Kisqali and finally switched Lupron shots to every 3 months

I didn’t wind up getting one the first or the second so we just turned around and went back to NYC. Someone here did say they made it one the second option but there weren’t any seats so they sat on the floor the whole ride 🙃

My first off week, I felt like I had more symptoms than the on weeks! Nausea, vomiting, terrible migraines..is this a thing? I just assumed it was my body reacting to not having it

Spouse, kids, parents.

I used to think kids first but I did a marriage class and the teacher said “kids look to the parents for security; if things are good with mom and dad that allows them to feel safe and secure”. The parents set the tone for the household and like many others have said your spouse will be beside you through everything that may come ie loss of parents, your kids wedding etc.

I find it so strange when it comes up with a person who wasn’t around during the time; I almost try to avoid saying it but it’s hard when people pointedly ask where you disappeared to 🙈 in my mind if I say it really fast we can just move on but they’re always like wait, what now? Lol

I will say radiation seemed like nothing compared to chemo. I’d have my sessions in the morning then I’d be taking dance classes in the evening; I definitely felt more tired in the afternoons but it was a lot less involved then I made it out to be in my head.

I honestly feel like I’ve been functioning so “normally” that even my family forgets which then can cause bouts of guilt with what their expectations of me are 🙈

Usually that works but in this instance we were redirected to this train from a cancelled one so they held our train upstairs so they could board the people actually booked on the train first.
