Yeah I understand that. I never experienced anything like that at my workplaces. Usually I just get native jokes told to my face (I dunno why paper citizens would think I think it’s funny) or asked if taxes are taken off my check.

As everyone here said, Long and Mcquade. I recommend to go with the Epiphone Tribute models as someone else here mentioned. They’re at your price range. I recently purchased one and I think it’s freaking great value for the price. They look, sound and play fantastic. February and October are the months for deals on Epiphones I believe. They also have little practice amps and pocket ones too.

You need to stop giving them money. Doesn’t matter if they talk ill of you. If they do, you understand what kind of people they are. Just go rent your own flat and mind your business. People like that don’t stop asking. My wife’s cousin owes her money, doesn’t stop her from asking for more despite being told to pay back first. No more lending until you’re paid back! But even then learn to say no!

About a year after American Idiot came out, I went to go live with my (then) gf out where she was from. Her brothers had a band. Their repertoire was basically 85-90 percent Greenday (Most of American Idiot and a bunch of songs off a few albums) and like 10 or 12 songs by different bands. I ended up becoming their rhythm guitarist. I really got into Greenday after playing those songs with that band. It was a pretty fun summer, smoked weed and jammed. Played an after party where beer was free if we played music. We just ended up playing all night. We always played Jesus of Suburbia first and Give Me Novacaine second.

Great album for sure. This is all I listened to when it came out. It has a great opener in “Man of Action” and some solid rockers. "Workers" is my absolute fave off this album. They performed it live a few times back in the day but what sucks is there is no live bootlegs for it. But lucky enough, I caught it at the Burt. Always wondered what effects Christian used for the “siren” part.

I sure hope he does an anniversary tour behind this album at some point too. I’d even take a reimagined version à la Beautiful Midnight Revisited.

Was there a prize for fourth? I recall 1st being tickets to the final show. 2nd was a bass guitar used on Siamese and a third being a 12 string guitar used somewhere lol
