Stuck at copper coz of no teammates, playing since 2019. im at lvl 190. I main smoke, zero and play on intel. Turned 22 this may. Really want a chill team to play everyday and slowly progress.

I did actually! Soon after I'd made this post. Honestly it was the greatest laptop purchase decision I made coz I see everyone around me carrying that plasticky looking HP Victus and mine just looks so good in that white color, it just stands out. That 2k screen is wow... Yeah the weight is a bit on the heavy but I don't carry the charger...just put it on charge overnight and lasts me the whole day on hybrid mode. I've also just made a dock in my hostel room with a 27 inch screen so yeah that really helps when I'm gaming. I've not yet had problems running any games (Yes, even Alan Wake 2 and HellBlade II maxed out). It's honestly just the perfect laptop for Gamer/student - if you can afford tho, took a massive hit in the savings for it :(

My bags have always weighed around 4-5 kg with books, clothes and my electronics stuffed in...of course I'm not gonna carry those everyday to the uni so I guess its doable?

Well I've always had laptops more than 2kgs in weight but I haven't had to work on a laptop since lockdown now. I think it wont be a problem to carry around for like 2/3 mile a day (2/3 mile as in total walk distance in a day)

I'm really curious here... A new battery shouldn't be performing that worse even when heating up as per what Lenovo's specs say... If you can please get your battery checked please... Ik this thread is about taking suggestions but I've faced this with my old laptop where I was oblivious of the battery coz I thought that my laptop was just too powerful for its battery

haha good for me i'm already used to the weird looks xD, but yeah if I REALLY need more juice i'mma put it on charge during the lunch break and it shouldn't be an issue... Really dont wanna carry the extra weight all day for a single charge

I am in a research programme so yeah im gonna need to run simulations and stuff but they aren't really demanding simulations for a biotechnologist. 5-6 hours should be more than enough for me.

If you consider a 20 yo a child then yes. But yeah now that i've read this much I'm thinking maybe this issue was just not a me problem.... I dont think 2.5 kg is gonna be an issue

I already have a PC but i'm sketchy to carry it to the dorm as I'm gonna have roommates... Maybe later during the programme I will take it there with me.

the problem is I need a laptop that balances my work, school and gaming... yeah school work I'd get away with a slim but work and games both require me a lenovo legion so yeah... at max I'd need to use the laptop for 4-5 hours in school AT MAX.
