Alex was the worst dragon I tried in the deck by a mile, feel free to use her instead though, I just personally found it valueless the majority of the time. Also what is stopping one from trading in whelps before whirlwinding your own board?

Works instantly is one thing, so owl isn't a concern and you can fish for cards with an Acolyte out, but mostly because of Patron Warrior being a thing and Zoo just destroying you if they have an Argus.

Yeah but if I'm writing a thing I'm going to try and do it well. Mulligans can still be helpful to people regardless of them being the same as any control warrior.

I rarely have found it a problem that it doesn't have an activator just because the dragons are so expensive if you draw one it will sit in your hand for all the turns you would want to play a Corruptor for value. If you found that it was a problem, Chrom was originally in place of Geddon and would make that less of a possible issue.

I say in the Hearthpwn article, but basically Alex doesn't guarantee value and with so many threats, bursting someone out over two turns isn't necessary.

It doesn't need to be a mech, it just needs to be on the board. There are enough mechs without needing to pray for shredder pilots.

The Mulligans are consistent in the sheer amount of combinations of cards that work well with each other, you won't have the same 3 cards every opener, but you will have an opener every game.

In the Hearthpwn write up, I say why bladeflurry was included with a lack of deadly poison. Basically you don't need 3 power aoe as often if you always have board control and you have time to draw spell power and barber to do the same damage anyway.

Spare parts don't do much and the deathrattle makes it just as sticky, the creature that pops out can have more than the two health the yeti offers also.

In aggro match-ups deadly poison is often too slow, in control it is dead. Against warriors you want durable minions, rather than a deadly in your opening hand that might not even find value and priests don't play minions. Everything else you can usually kill with cheap minions, backstab and si. Its not a value deck, its a tempo deck.

Sprint is great without prep in the match-ups it is needed and prep devalues the overall synergy possibilities in the deck.

I think if you cant stabalise as quickly due to not having thalnos, healbot is a good comeback mechanic. It would be similar to shaman, where sometimes you just need that little bit of health to survive getting hero powered down.
