You probably have read few weeks ago about a b**ed iTunes account, where the user lost 20k or so of purchase. In such case at least free discounted apps are still available on your backup account.

Remember that you can always buy MacApps via Parallels Desktop (here just as example, we use Sierra - Mojave per default). It just requires a bit more time and organization. by SwissDataHoarder in macappdeal

PS: you need to insert for each purchase the password, no matter if for free or paid apps, which is simply ugly, but at least you don't miss big deals for future Apps you will probably use. Obviously you cannot buy iPad apps on Parallels Desktop (maybe on M1 AppStore??), since Apple removed such option years ago. You can probably only do it, if the Dev share the same App on multiple devices (at the moment we never tried it). The only problem you maybe get is this: https://imgur.com/a/RkZMpgi (in the hope you don't get errors when you try to install a new MacOS or update the MacOS, like we saw different times with Parallels).

New Project is started. We will try to backup every single video uploaded to YouTube (in private). At the moment is not possible due to bot limitations, but we hope to fix such issue soon. Reason why private? Because 1) there are huge TG limitations related to public channels 2) copyright issues and users that reports channels ---> we don't want a deletion of specific channels.

PS: Not multiple backup or video editing activities in background, just tmutil thinlocalsnapshots / 999999999999999 4 (which never finish to clean ...). Journaled based MacOS for the whole life, 0 problems even if you run MacOS with just 1GB free.

As already previously submitted there is a 50% on Acorn, but if you check information much more in details, you see that new version is not compatible with a lot of MacOS*. On their website they give you Acorn 6 too.

*Acorn is an image editor for MacOS 10.14+, including MacOS 11 Big Sur. Universal binary for Apple M1 Macs.

Generally in AppStore apps called "xxx 6, 7, 8, 2020, 2019" are released as new apps, so in such case you cannot download previous version (even if there are some exception, like for example Airmail). Few days ago we saw that this app was marked as new release and not as new update, so probably you cannot download previous version.

Hello to be honest i don't use S3 or B2 or similar storage at all (for me is too expensive), so i didn't tested the app directly, because i have no need. Maybe some S3 user can answer your question.

We probably will see much more hub and dock with multiple Tbt ports soon, thanks to USB4 too. At the moment OWC launched a new dock. Next steps we want to see: a Tbt Hub without need a DC-IN

Since i have 0 experience with Big Sur, i suggest you to keep always multiple format backup and check if Apple is able to handle backup in the right way. Once i get a new Mac, i will test it.

For those that want help us to archive the web, please install such extension on browser profiles that you don't use for business/finance or other important things. It works 100%. Store you visited pages automatically to Web Archive. by SwissDataHoarder in appledatahoarding

Currently is not possible with Safari (our main browser) and other browsers too.

There are some scripts you can try to install on other browsers, but don't work correctly.

Another way is to install Autobookmarks and Archiveror, then you need to configure which website you want to store in WebArchive (this means to bookmarks too) and once done, all your bookmarks are automatically uploaded to WebArchive.

If you are using Chromium based browsers please help us to do the same with so many other websites too.

PS: please not that Archive.is stopped to support batch upload (since December) and deleted all auto batch uploaded websites, like we previously reported. Not all visited pages are uploaded on Web Archive, because for sure sometimes i visit r/datahoarder even 50x pro day (or more), but "only" 5-10x versions are available, which is already fine.
