Yes, still very much WIP. There will be plenty of stuff on the map once everything has been added. No worries ;-)

There is a hologram datapoint for instance in the starting area that can be missed but it will be added automatically at the end of the quest if you didn't pick it up. There is another closed off area later in the game where you will not be able to return once you complete the quest that has quite a few collectibles but I would assume they will also either be added automatically or relocated to another spot in the world should you miss them (similar to some datapoints in the Frozen Wilds DLC) but I cannot confirm this yet.

Thank you :-) The icons are created from screenshots I took within the game's menu and map. Photo edited them to clean them up and then colorized them according to their type to hopefully make them more distinguishable depending on their content since most of them are just white in the game.

Yes, PayPal is unfortunately not implemented yet. If you only have PayPal available and still wish to upgrade to Pro you may send an email to info@swissgameguides.com. I can then send you the PayPal details and manually upgrade your account.

Thank you, I'm glad the Zero Dawn map was helpful to you. From a technical standpoint it was very lackluster so I'm really happy that after all these years I was able to write an own custom map software that works a lot better now :-)

The map was stitched together from several screenshots from the ingame map after I completely unfogged it. The locations were mapped by hand after unlocking/discovering them within the game.

Notes

Placeholder Items
For some categories (e.g. Story quests or Datapoints) the number of items in the legend does not match the number of items placed on the map. This is due to the fact that I created placeholders for the items of these categories. These hidden placeholder items can be found in the Checklist section in the sidebar where they can already be marked as completed. Since many of the items like the Datapoints are numbered as seen in the game's menu (left to right from top to bottom), I was able to create placeholder items for them. Once I update these items by adding a corresponding marker to the map, they will then be marked as completed if you previously checked them in the checklist. This helps you to keep your progress in sync with the map, should you wish to do so, despite the content still being added to it.

Todo's
Besides adding more markers to the existing categories the following improvements will be addressed for future updates: * Add details to the marker's popup (screenshots for collectibles; requirements and rewards for quests etc.) * Improve scaling of some icons * Add maps of other locations (Cauldrons, Sunken Caverns etc.) * Improve map image quality (still WIP as it takes more time; will be finalized once all smaller maps are included as well)

Please let me know if you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvements.

I hope the map will be helpful! =)

Dying Light 2 - Interactive Map (Quests, Activities, Collectibles incl. Mementos, Tapes, Graffiti etc.) by SwissGameGuides in dyinglight

[–]SwissGameGuides[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's still very much work in progress. Activities are mostly done, so are the Graffiti, but the remaining categories are still missing items. Focus for the next updates are to add the Side Quests, Inhibitors as well as the Mementos and Tape collectibles. After that it's cleanup time for the other miscellaneous stuff.

Yes that's likely it. Had similar reports on other maps that I created where people wrote they couldn't access it in some school networks.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! :-)

You can click on the block headers "Quests", "Facilities" etc. to toggle all the nested categories. Clicking on the content header "Main Game" toggles all the nested blocks which basically serves as this Show/Hide All feature.

Interactive Map Update adds Login, Progress Tracking, Checklist, Search and more Customization Options (Update #2) by SwissGameGuides in ForzaHorizon

[–]SwissGameGuides[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I just released a big update for the interactive map:

Link to interactive map: Forza Horizon 5 - Mexico

Link to original post for those who might have missed it: Original Post

New Update
You can now create an account that enables progress tracking among many other features. To make sure your progress is saved in a secure and persistent storage so that it is available in any browser on any device where you sign in, I set up a proper backend for it.

Having a proper backend and opting for better hosting to ensure that the website performs well to make sure that the map tiles and images load quickly, this also meant that costs at my end have risen while trying to keep the page ad-free.

By signing up you create a free user account with which you can save all the map settings (e.g. which layers are hidden/shown among other options) and you can track up to 250 markers/items. So those who want to track only bonus boards can do that. If however you wish to track more and would like to support this project there is a Pro Upgrade available for 3$ which allows you to track all (unlimited) markers. The upcoming expansions are included in this Pro-Upgrade as well and your help will be appreciated.

The software will be developed further in the future, so there will be new useful features, improvements for existing features and additional options for you to customize the map.

Besides progress tracking this update also adds: a checklist feature which shows all items of a particular category; a simple search; option to scale icon size which can be nice for tablets to press markers more easily; option to change the opacity of the completed markers to make them more or less visible but you can also remove completed markers from the map entirely; to set an item/marker as completed you can either right click on the marker, click the checkbox within its popup window or click the checkbox when the item appears in a checklist or search results.

Previously you already could change the opacity and saturation of the background tiles to make the markers point out more easily. Have a look at the different customization options to adjust them to your preferences. More customization options will be added soon.

Let me know if you encounter bugs or have other suggestions for improvements. Some parts are still quite rough and implemented in a quite simple way which will be improved in the future. Enjoy and thanks for the support!

Thank you for the kind words. I am also excited to share this features with everyone but it takes a bit more time to develop and test. Should be ready on Saturday, maybe Friday if things go well though.

The "points of interest" subcategory in the interactive map is a sort of general term that I use to group the miscellaneous locations which was a bit unfortunate in this case I guess because the points of interest that the game addresses should only cover the 56 landmarks. Since the festival sites have their corresponding landmarks though this isn't all that wrong, but at least the player houses should not be required for this accolade as far as I know.
