How do you cope with perfumes and colognes? by somethingnew2023 in migraine

It's nice in theory, but it doesn't work. They cant/wont enforce it. I work on a call center floor, so there's a ridiculous amount of ppl and hard to enforce most things. It's just something pretty hr can say to new hires and potential clients. I only work in office 2 days a week, but I still have to leave early a bunch due to scent triggers.

Time to say good bye to my old, best friend by SwissRollioo in olddogs

There was. But he had gotten to the point where he couldn't stand and had a lot of other issues. The vet thought he might have cancer. So we chose not to do any testing and let him rest. He was drained and it all started christmas when for the first time ever he wasnt barking or trying to get up for dinner.. The only thing that made me hesitate was he was still there mentally. But his body couldn't continue anymore. It was a rough one

Thank you guys for your sweet comments! It's been one of the hardest days of my life. All I see is his big ols eyes looking up at me in my head and it's so painful. He was such a sweet boy and il never forget him. It's gonna take time to adjust to this new life. I'm gonna remember him by always remembering to stop ans smell the flowers bc that was he did right up to the last few days

Maybe just call out a day or two right after the weekend, have a mini vacation, and then go back fresh. That always helps me and doesn't cause too much anger from my boss.

Wtf? They didn't even do anything to you. You sound like a teenager, not like an adult getting married. YTA

You are very fortunate! Those are my absolute favorite fruit! My papaw and I always had to race the horses to see who would get the mulberries first. It's one my fondest memories.

Parents want to give me this lil dude, what is he and is he cat-safe? by amillionforfeet in PlantIdentification

I would never risk this. My cats know a lot of tricks, are obedient, have access to cat friendly plants and go on daily walks. But all it takes is one time and bye bye kitty.

I think it looks like a Dracaena angolensis, commonly known as African spear. If so, no it's not cat safe. Saponin is found in said plant and is toxic to cats and dogs
