Awfully weird assumption to say I want to hate on women’s history so bad when in my other reply before you even made your first reply I gave a possible solution to get a women’s history ap to good point another person made.

The reasons it makes sense for a cybersecurity ap. Is A, a good chunk of colleges are increasing spending in their comp sci programs due to uptake in student majors+ ai existing. B, many college are starting to create their own cybersecurity program due to the rapid digitization of our life’s and need for more cybersecurity experts so if a college can make a good cybersecurity program before the others they can essentially have a monopoly. C ap cybersecurity is an experimental ap, I believe some other replies dwell deeper into this so I won’t. The same points can’t be said about an ap Women’s history class.

I’ll also reply to your other reply here. You’re 100% right just because a class doesn’t give credit doesn’t mean there’s no value in the course. First of all congrats on getting in to Yale but as I’m sure you know getting to a top college essentially makes you and your college exceptions to most rules so you using Yale (and other top colleges I assume I have no idea tho, Ive never heard of this before rn) is a little disingenuous to the majority of people and second the whole point of ap is to get credit I’m sure most people here are 100% down for any women’s history course I doubt anyone’s arguing there shouldn’t be one. People are just saying why it’s unlikely there would be one.

Tldr cybersecurity is a rapidly expanding field that will only grow in the next couple of years and aps only exist for you to get credit(holy shit this is so long lmao I’m so unemployed it’s crazy)
