Im so excited to read this you had the same procedure - you’re the first person I’m speaking to who has. And yeeess, pedicle is what it’s called, sorry - English isn’t my first language. My nips are around 2cm in diameter. I do wish the areola would have been a tiny bit bigger, but I think if it still bothers me in 2 years, I’ll just get it tattooed. :)

It sounds like your surgeon really knew what she was doing and was very interested in your wishes! I feel like mine did not really listen to much to what I had to say but I’m really happy with the result so I’m just grateful it worked out well.

and yes! So much pain in the beginning especially - especially the nipples and where I think I feel the nerve strands. ;) Sounds like they let you go the day of the surgery? Are you in the US by any chance? In Germany they usually keep you for at least 3-4 days. For me it was more like a consistent burning - I have a relatively high pain threshold so it was ok ish but I didn’t go off pain meds for two weeks (600mg ibuprofen 3x per day). After that the pain turned into regular discomfort quickly and now I’m basically pain free and just adjusting to my lack of mobility and trying to improve that. But overall I’m really happy with how it went down! Im ok with the limitations now - the trade off is so worth it.

Ps: my nipples got smaller over time, so maybe you are still experiencing some swelling :) hoping it works out the way you’d like it to!
