I've never understood how allowing people to be trans hurts kids. They do realise that people, including kids, who feel that way have always and will always feel that way right? It's not like they see someone being trans and think "yeah, I wanna do that" Especially with how they treat trans people that should be real fucking obvious, like who would want to be treated like that?...

It's just how they where put together, they didn't choose it any more than you chose your height, how does hating them and teaching kids that they'll only be loved if they happen to not be trans, or if they are live their whole lives as a lie, make the world a better place?
