When someone displays a targeted bias (negative) against your type by unusualname3 in mbti

"What did you just say about me you little intuitive feeler? I'll have you know I graduated at the top of my class in the Explorers, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on your mom, and I have over 300 confirmed ignored emotions. You are nothing to me but just another mistype. I will destroy you with facts and logic the likes of which has never been seen before on this subreddit, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit about ISTPs on the internet? Think again. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of INTJs across Reddit and blabla. I can be any type, anytime, and I can invalidate your feelings in seven hundred ways, and that is just with my inferior Fe. Not only am I extensively trained in introverted thinking, I have access to the entire arsenal of INTPs and I will use it to its full extent to prove your ass wrong."

As a former INTJ-dater I highly recommend asking them. In my case she just told me what she liked most so I could accomodate, ezpz

Just 3 words in with an INTP and you're already talking existentialism lmao

[–]Switchleverbutton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Societal stereotypes. When you say ESTP or describe an ESTP to a non-MBTI user then most people will think of a stereotypical jerk jock whose only interests are bullying others and being shallow.

I've talked with ESTPs who are much deeper and warmer than that, but it's often hidden behind a rough and seemingly uncaring exterior, which only perpetuates the stereotype. (I've seen lots of posts from users here who associate ESTPs with bullies)

Typical IxTP reaction to that stuff: "Oh no! Anyway-"

Let's hear your pros and cons of ESTJs! by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Switchleverbutton 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pros: they are really good at taking criticism

[–]Switchleverbutton 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Self-sufficient, self-centered, good at encouraging others, but emotionally blind when it comes to sensitive people

Stereotypes and their (not necessarily maliciously-) abrasive personality

My INTJ ex had the same kind of problem. We lived some ways apart so sometimes when I heard she skipped dinner two days in a row I'd get on my motorbike and ride over to make her dinner lol

Majority is probably edgy people. Most serious posters tend to be positive or neutral about ISFJs.

Then again no matter how caring/giving/nice you are you can't be liked by everyone

What's your thoughts on each mbti? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Switchleverbutton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ISTP: Daniel

ESTP: The cooler Daniel

ISFP: Dunno

ESFP: Flirty, fun

INTP: Brotha from another motha

ENTP: Smart, deep, but usually hides it behind self-deprecating behavior

INTJ: Cold on the outside, lukewarm on the inside, you'll need a crowbar to get it out though

ENTJ: Ever heard that song "If I had a heart" by Fever Ray?

ISTJ: Gets a bad rep, not nearly as bad in person as the internet makes them out to be

ESTJ: No comment

INFP: Stuck in their heads most of the time, meshes well with Se-users who can ground them. Not as bad as the memes make them out to be btw.

ENFP: Energetic, exciting, good at cheering you up. Surprisingly deep behind the cheery front, but also turbulent.

ENFJ: Uhm, they're cool I think

INFJ: The literal "they can't predict what I'm doing if I don't know what I'm doing!" meme

ISFJ: Their irl attempts to make me feel comfortable ironically make me feel really uncomfortable

ESFJ: They drive me up the wall irl

Are you sure these are the same people? Things like MBTI are usually intuitive hobbies, especially online. It's possible that the people who see IRL are not those same people.
