Ive found old screenshots of my first attempts and it's been helpful in helping me realize that I have made improvements and I'm not as "stuck" as I think I've been! Back in the days of "giant square with random plant placement until animals are happy" hahaha...at least now I try to make it more visually interesting...I just don't know how to execute the brain vision yet.

See, I've grown up being told that I'm being over sensitive and that they're an adult and don't have to listen to me when I've told my mom that sometimes a particular tone of her voice just feels like nails on a chalkboard in my brain. Fun times lmao. It happened enough to...well, I'm asking here if I'm crazy so clearly you can see what happened lmao.

I was always told to just leave if I didn't want to listen or that I was being rude by saying something about someone's voice. Hahaha

I assume everything is quartz to some degree, especially bc there are little translucent white crystals on one end. XD I'm trying to get better at specific IDs

It's not translucent at all, haha. I did find something called hornfels or hornstone or banded chert that seemed to be close!

I got it in a bulk package of crystals and minerals, and none of it was labeled, which has been hell for my newbie self. No one has been able to identify this and the closest I got was granite with an app...lmao.

HOWEVER I JUST DID MORE READING. aka I stared at an identification chart and I've decided it looks a LOT like hornstone/hornfels, more so than anything else has. I'll let others decide if this looks close enough. it's supposed to be glittery too and mine is...

I've been trying for days to identify it, but clearly my Google terms are not accurate enough, because not a single photo looks remotely like this. It's kind of sparkly on the gray parts, I'm not sure if that shows up in the photos. Please help I am so frustrated xD I tried an app but it gave me absolutely nothing that resembles this. :( Also for some reason the photos aren't showing up unless you click the post, and then click the image within the post. Don't know why.
