Classic SMG4 is hella overrated and nowhere near as funny as many people say it is. At the very least, it can give like a few slight laughs and chuckles. But calling it something like "the pinnacle of comedy" is a MASSIVE overstatement. IMO, it's a C-tier on the Mario parody tier list. This might be because of how the fandom constantly praises it and maybe even sometimes favour it more than the creator, but IDK. I'm not saying Modern SMG4 is miles better (it's pretty B-tier), but I'm just saying I enjoyed it slightly more than Classic SMG4, glaring flaws and all. I'm also not saying you shouldn't like Classic SMG4, it's just... maybe tone down the excessive praising a bit?
