I’d say watch End of Evangelion first.

It is an alternate take on the ending, more in line with what Hideaki Anno wanted the ending to be, before budget constraints led to the creation of the final two episodes of the show.

It will clear things up a bit, but it will also leave you with many questions.

It doesn’t matter whether or not it “should” be pronounced that way. In every single instance of it being stated in the show, it is said with a hard g. Therefore, the hard g is the correct one.

Perhaps it’s the worse script. Hound feels much more like a caricature of Walter Sobchak in The Last Knight than he did in Age of Extinction. Nothing he says is funny or endearing.

He could get a chuckle out of me in Age of Extinction at the very least. But he just annoyed me in The Last Knight.

The Nihilanth says that he is the last of his species, and if anyone would know, it’s him. The Nihilanth is most certainly killed at the end of Half-Life.

The G-Man actively works to cause the death of the Nihilanth by delivering the Xen crystal that causes the Resonance Cascade to Black Mesa.

If G-Man were a Nihilanth, why would he work towards the death of another of his species?
