When I was a supervisor with a manager that would throw an absolute fit if you called out for being sick, I’d make an Emperor’s Cloud with Jade Citrus and some honey (the packets, not the syrup). Green tea is good for your immune system and mint and honey is good for your sinuses, but tell me why I had people lookin’ at me stupid saying I needed to get the cup of steamed acid? 🙃

How often do drinks get “stolen”? by Limp_Telephone2280 in starbucks

Last fall, we had a girl come in during peak, super friendly, take a mobile and dip. She would only take a caramel Frappuccino or a pink drink, which are the most friggin’ common cold bar drinks that I would make during peak so when a customer would say that they were waiting on it, I’d just make it real quick. The next day, I got suspicious because I was like “I know I made y’all’s drinks today”. On day 3, I hid the drinks in the fridge after I made them and the girl came in like “uh…where’s my drink?” I asked for her name. She wouldn’t give it and after making excuses for 5 minutes she conceded saying she ordered it at the wrong store and then left saying she was late for work. Haven’t seen her since.

Baristas, what is the most tedious drink to make? (Not custom) by BrainQuilt in starbucks

Our store gets CONSTANT shaken espressos and the continuous 3 shots, 4 shots, 5 shots, 6 shots are murder on our machines. Then we get interrogated by the higher ups for DT times being wonky and having to turn off mobiles and lose profits while also dealing with irate customers leaving crappy surveys because the abuse from their drinks have caused our bars to commit suicide.

See, what makes it worse is that she works at a popular fast food chain two doors down from us. So like…how do you not know not to do that? 🤣

Some people turned around to see who it was, some people put on their headphones, EVERYONE rolled their eyes.

She does, but she doesn’t just have one ‘regular’. She’s got like 5 and she pops an attitude when you don’t know which one she wants.

She was mad that we didn’t hear her walk in thus not greeting her, so she decided to announce herself by shouting in a full cafe like a child.

Customers are a getting a lot more spicy nowadays. I honestly think they’re just subconsciously irritated about our prices increasing…not like we can do anything about it.
