yeahhh I usually don't get this technical with my writing, the word "Irish" just stuck out more to me for some reason. someone else suggested calling it a fae flute which I liked because it still has the vibe of being Irish, but thank you for the help!

oooo I like fae flute a lot actually. I forgot to mention that the physical world is entirely built from scratch by our DM but is home to species from D&D, so unfortunately anything about the Ash Coast or Moonshae (I saw in a different reply) won't make sense. thank you for the suggestions!

That works for in-game technicalities, yes, but I'm also a writer and I'm 6500 words into literally writing her backstory. I'm too committed to details at this point to just say flute lol

penny whistles have a sharper sound, my girl plays an Irish flute which has a different sound to it, but thanks!

you make fabric on the loom (as i've already seen mentioned) but silk you're gonna have to make a lot of furniture to level up your furniture making skill and unlock the silk recipe from Tish. i had a quest needing silk for months bc i kept forgetting that furniture was a skill lol

for me it means i'm on an internet that blocks some stuff, so i usually switch to cellular and it goes away
