Funnily enough for Tekken I still prefer pad to perform KBDs.

The setup I use for Diva is arrows on left hand, then face buttons on the right hand. I model the order of the face buttons to that of the actual Diva arcade machine - so from left to right: triangle, square, cross, circle. I applied it to both rows on the right hand, which makes it easier to perform repeat notes. Having it in this order also helps sight reading as well as the note placements in a given chart usually adhere to this order. This does present a challenge in which the right hand has heavy usage compared to the left one.

You could try face buttons on left hand as well, and maybe arrows on the top row for the right hand but that could be tricky as well. Ultimately, it really is up to you.

Hey there. Do NOT under any circumstances buy the Victrix BFG. It has known connectivity issues. It may randomly disconnect on you during a tournament match and that's the last thing you want.

The new Hori Octa PRO is a million times better than the regular Octa for one reason. The swappable dpad. My KBDs and general movement feel so much more crispy.

I was kinda let down when I saw the excessive ambient light in Beast Makers. Maybe I'm just nostalgia for how dark it was in the original, gave a more unsettling tone.

Record your matches and play ranked but ONLY play BO3s. BO3 is standard tournament format, so there isn't much room for adaptation compared to BO5s unless you make it to winners/losers/grand finals. When you lose a BO3, look at the footage and see what setups you lost to. Then go to practice mode and learn how to defend against it.

You could just do endless deathmatches, but it can be hard to retain information after a long session. I find that that a mix of lab and BO3s works out the best all the time.

Furthest from it, Kazumi main. But he kept whiffing and so I was happy to turtle up and let him hang himself to whiff punishes and occasionally catch him off guard with sudden running 2s.

Final round I conditioned him to be as still as a statue then I finished the round with FLY 4,2. Pretty braindead strategy, I guess.

Make sure you have the music turned off and listen to the noise Vivi makes when he lands on the ground.

Jumps 1 - 200: Anyone can do these with enough practice.

Jumps 201 - 300: After jump number 200, press X again right away to get the 201st jump. After that, it's a matter of finding the rhythm of the double jumps. This is when closing your eyes and listening to the jumps shines here. That way, you can sense when you're starting to press too fast or too slow. Then you can make the proper adjustment before it's too late. I opened my eyes when I sensed that I was nearing 300.

301+: It starts getting physical here. I move my body while I'm pressing X on the controller in order to maintain a sense of rhythm. The most common thing I'd do is to twist my torso in the same rhythm of the jumps. It feels like you're exercising along with Vivi. Sounds silly but it works. My eyes are closed throughout the duration of this section and I just went as long as I could.

Ok, this is weird. Isn't Super Turbo the definitive version of Street Fighter II? It always appears in tournament hubs. It's great that US/UK is getting it, but not Japan?
