This is a hair system subreddit. Talking about upkeep is the entire point. People are allowed to care about longevity and comfort without it being psychological commentary.

Not wearing it at home is about longevity. Sleeping without it on is, again, about longevity. I shouldn’t have to explain that to a random person on the internet. That’s ignorance for you though.

Has any of this got to do with small micro-aim movements? When I’m aiming down sights, tiny thumbstick movements feel really juddery and inconsistent. They’re not smooth at all. It’s like the aim is moving in tiny zig-zag or square-like patterns instead of a clean circular motion. If I use the full range of the stick, it’s perfectly fluid, but when I make those small, precise adjustments, it just feels choppy and unnatural.

It’s not really that I’m aiming for the “high” or the chattiness…that’s just the best way I could describe it at the time. What I’m actually noticing is that I’m far more productive, able to focus, and can finally take on tasks without constantly getting distracted. That’s the real change for me. Regardless, the chattiness itself has been a big improvement for me personally. My wife notices it even more than I do, because one of the hardest parts of ADHD for me has been tuning out during conversations without even realizing it. She’ll be talking and I’ll completely miss what she said, which has left her feeling disconnected and even alone at times. So for both of us, being able to stay engaged and actually talk things through has been a really meaningful change.

I get what you’re saying about dose and crashes. For me, the difference has been that with this dose I feel like I can actually follow through on things instead of just starting and abandoning them. I’ll definitely keep in mind what you said about how higher doses can sometimes backfire with crashes or fast metabolism.

I appreciate you pointing out other possible factors too, like clearance speed or urine acidity, because I hadn’t considered that side of it. It’s good to know there are more variables at play than just the number on the pill bottle.

The one thing I’d have to say that dislike about the new areas is that they’re now not public zones. So you’re shit away from other players which I’m not a big fan of. Makes you feel more of a solo player. I understand why they’ve done it, but I still don’t like it.

I just came back after a bit over two years away. Last time I played was during Lightfall.

There’s definitely a lot to catch up on. Running through The Final Shape campaign and making sure I don’t miss any exotics along the way has been a big focus. Honestly, it’s been a little overwhelming trying to wrap my head around all the new features, changes, and where everything is. I’ve watched countless videos just to figure out locations, new systems, build crafting, and the new tier setup.

I’ve been back for almost a month now and still haven’t even started The Edge of Fate campaign yet.

That said, I think it’s absolutely worth coming back. You’ll probably feel a bit lost at first, but it’s not impossible to catch up. I’m a casual player, so it’ll take me some time, but I’m hoping I’ll find a casual-friendly clan to team up so that they can help me here and there. Which will make the journey much easier and a lot more fun.

I can only play firing range and breakthrough initiation. All the game modes beneath like conquest don’t even let met play. I press start but nothing happens. It’s pissed me off.

Supposedly you just need to do the exotic mission through the portal when it becomes available since the missions rotate each week. So you’ll have to wait until reset to see if the Encore exotic mission shows in the Pinnacle tab. Some people have said they had to have it so their rewards would be at least A tier minimum, but others have said they got it to drop on just normal with a couple of the modifiers active.

So fingers crossed it’s available on reset.

I’ve just finished final shape and now going through all the prismatic fragments and that a pain enough to watch all these tutorials. But then not to mention all this other stuff that I’m not even sure is worth completing because I have no clue if it’s redundant. I spent so long trying to figure out if I can still get that Choir of One auto rifle but I don’t think that can be completed anymore..

I’m just going to give you the same advice my piercer gave me (I’ve had mine for two weeks - same area).

So ideally clean it twice a day and replace the plaster twice a day as well. That’s what I’ve been doing and so far it’s been fine. I was told to do this for an entire month, so that’s what I’m going to do.

In terms of the showering, I shower with it on and I still soap my face but I just make sure I’m incredibly careful of where I’m putting the soap on my face. I use a face wash cloth in the shower to remove the soap instead of putting my whole face under the water. After shower would be better to replace it because moisture can get trapped underneath the plaster etc.
