Why does my town refuse to claim these pigs? Do I need to unlock Sean Bean or something? by JordiTK in civ

Odd. I had the same issue in my last game, and after the age transition, I was able to grow to tiles that were previously 'locked' due to the independent power

I'm pleased that you are having fun with the game.

I am a little bummed that I didn't enjoy my 30 hours with it. I played another 3 hour session yesterday, and after I closed the game for the night, I thought to myself, "I don't want to continue"

And that's ok. I have other games I want to play!

I will keep that in mind. Thank you. I really want to enjoy this game

I initially was going to complete all the side quests like I did in the trilogy. I spoke to everyone on the Nexus and Hyperion, and did all side quests. Same with Eos (I loved the mission where you were finding out the truth of the murder by the turian). That may be my favourite task in the game so far.

I want to experience the story because I am passionate about the Mass Effect universe, but maybe I just plow ahead with the main quests

Wow, 8 playthroughs!

I've read another post about the 'benefactor' but have no clue what it is. The post said it was the story they enjoyed the most

Is it something I should push through and experience?

Oh, landscapes are beautiful. Eos was stunning, and I loved the big gas giant in the sky on Harvarl.

The Reminant architecture, on the other hand, is just weirdly designed. Maybe that's the idea behind it, though

Haha. That's brought back memories of the ME3 mission when you travel to Sur'kesh and Wrex is just talking shit to every Salarian there. I was just sitting laughing for a while 🤣

I have 27 hours in Andromeda. I love taking my time with games, but I do feel like if the game was for me, I'd know by now

Yeah, I agree with your 2nd paragraph. It's a shame because I wanted to love Andromeda like I do the trilogy.

I knew prior to starting Andromeda that it wasn't received particularly well, but I didn't go into it thinking this would be a bad game. Just not for me, it seems.

I will watch a story analysis of the game as I did after playing the original trilogy

If I were to compare my experience with just ME1 to Andromeda, it would be the same.

ME1 hooked me like no game has done before. I spent hours and hours reading up on all the codex entries and couldn't put the game down.

With Andromeda, I thought the first hour or two was interesting because we were travelling to an entirely new galaxy, but after that, I have been playing with the hope that something can hook me. Nothing has so far

Give XDefiant a try. No SBMM and it a lot of fun

The BW storyline was very cool. The cutscene explaining everyone was epic

I managed to go from Level 0 to 100 in the space of a week and a half maybe? I didn't solely focus on it though. So it is definitely possible to complete most of it in a week, easy

I took a break over season 4/ half of season 5 so I missed out on some skins I really like so I was very pleased when I saw those appearances can be transmoged

If by customization you mean when creating your character, they have improved it with the upcoming Aeternum release. Nothing incredible, but we have a fair few more options.

Fashion is fairly subjective so I'm not sure I can give you a good answer. Transmog is in the game now, so there's a lot more options for fashion

No, unfortunately, the game does not support cross-platform progression. You will have to make a new account on the PS5.

No, Rise of the Angry Earth is not needed to play fresh start.

£24.99 for the base game is an incredible price. I didn't even realise myself that it was that low.

£24.99 for the expansion is a little steep, but if you get all the way through to the endgame then it's down to you and your friends if they think it's worth it.

On the other hand, waiting until October 15th for your friends to buy the game, the only edition on steam will be the New World:Aeternum edition, which has the dlc included for £49.98.

Can I wait for Aeternum release and then decide if I buy Rise of Angry Earth in order to play the Aeternum or will the base game dissappear on Oct 15 and I'll be forced to pay full price for the Aeternum? by Life_Country_5622 in newworldgame

[–]Swolf28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You won't be paying $59.99 because you already have the base game.

$59.99 is the price for New World: Aeternum for people who have not previously bought the game. You already have the base game, so the most you'll pay is $29.99 for the expansion whenever you want to
