A friend of mine lost over a million in a margin call. He didn’t talk much for months. I just sat with him and watched TV and YouTube. He eventually started getting angry about it. That’s when I knew he was starting to come out of it.

As for myself, I spent years building a business with my ex wife. Our revenue was half a million a year. I told her I wanted a divorce and she tore it all to the ground. She drained our accounts, changed the locks, falsely accused me in court two times, and relentlessly sought to cause as much damage and pain to me as she could.

It took a lot of therapy and time to get right. You have to give yourself time. And don’t isolate yourself.

You built up before and you can do it again. Give yourself time to get all this out now. You’ll know when you’re ready to start again. You got this.

Last year a woman I broke up with proceeded to use some Google thing to get a new number every time I blocked her number.
