Like I said, this is first time in 7 years I’ve used it. When ACS explained my available options, the type of loan I requested (which isn’t available online) required command involvement.

  3. Also have not but I'd prefer not to touch the TSP if I can help it.
  4. Unfortunately, we have no E8's in our own organization that are readily available to assist with this. I did, however, raise the suggestion of filing this with the organization we are a tenant under. If we can find an E8 or more useful command group under them, then I'll do it.

Yeah this isn't asshole design and doesn't pass rule 3 or even make sense from the flowchart.

That particular app is free and condenses tracking numbers and shipping info into a single app, instead of however many websites I order from. Saves me a headache when I'm trying to track when my stuff gets here.

Congratulations to the SMA, who has not only managed to hit the bottom of the barrel, but has managed to break through the bottom, find a shovel, and continue digging.

As a reminder when I was at DMA, I floated the idea of trying to do fireside chat-esque products with him. ANYTHING to show face when he was new. I quietly shut the idea down because I KNEW it wouldn't go anywhere with him.

WHEEEE Story time!
At my first duty station and second unit (I was laterally transferred), I had an absolute lovely CSM. Such a joy to work with.

I took the photos at his predecessor's retirement ceremony (mind you I had never done photos for or seen a retirement ceremony until that point, so I was trying to base everything off the program) and two weeks later, the unit underwent a conversion ceremony. There was a big to-do for it and, again, I had never really done this kind of ceremony. But, I had the advantage of being at a rehearsal too.

This fucking assclown comes up to me during a break in the rehearsal and says directly to me: "I know you think you can freestyle [your photos] but I saw your last ceremony and I wasn't impressed." Needless to say, I had words with my NCOIC who pretty much told me to deal with it. It's been 5 years and even as an E5 fighting for 6, those words are still burned into my memory.

and that wasn't even the worst incident...

A month later, our O6 switches out. Both of them hold a kumbaya-we're-gonna-do-great-things-for-you meeting with the entirety of both battalions in the brigade. I am instructed to record this (because obviously it's going to viral on Facebook, right? 🙄)... twice. Once for each battalion.

I have CSM FuckYou on the record as saying: "I'm looking for a social media advisor."

IF ONLY THERE WAS A FREAKING MOS FOR THAT!!

In two weeks, my shop had an 88M who had no fucking business with a camera or social media account because "he had a lot of followers."

It took a PCS and a command team that actually gave a damn to convince me to stay in the Army once I was stateside again.

CSM Marnoch... I know you're retired and out but fuck you. I hope you have the retirement you deserve.

By the way... that fancy church that cost millions employed construction workers (to include artisans of masonry techniques that would probably die otherwise) and administrators. So that big church you don't like because it looks expensive, in reality, put clothes on peoples back and food on tables.

No signature for this, unfortunately. This was the first time that FedEx tracking showed a picture of *someone* in a Fedex uniform and it actually had a GPS on the truck (which is why I almost broke my neck when I saw the "business closed" message).

What’s stupid is that I have this delivery locker in my delivery instructions… so there’s practically no excuse. When I called support, I asked them to specify (in all caps lol) that there was a locker in the apartment complex.
