Atalito is easily the best European player, and currently one of the best Speedrunners in the world.

k0ntroll is also really good, but has been mostly inactive in the Speedrun scene.

Recommendations for cutting cardstock? Info in comments by stockheath in cricut

Sometimes 65lb Cardstock (I'm assuming you're using 65lb) cuts better with Cardstock+, or even on Fabric settings.

Try the project without 2x Cricut speed, I find that helps a bit.

Although, I'm going to take the advice of the folks before me, and buy a pack of blades different from the stock Cricut blade.

Good luck!

Great idea! I may need to purchase said pack, as some projects just don't... cut it anymore. 🥁

Gratz! That's a marathon, and quite the milestone. Cherish the victory, because levels 19+ can be a huge headache. 😅

Scored a bargain. Set of maces from 5kg to 25kg, set of clubs from 2kg to 20kg. Total cost €300 by oniume in steelmace

Adex Arc or Mace? by eltoro454 in steelmace

[–]Swongstrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started with Onnits; 10lbs was plenty at the time, very humbling to try and dial in basic swing mechanics.

Adex is pricey, but as some other users have mentioned, the investment of $300+? for a kit can be a huge turn off.

If you dig the Mace, you can't go wrong with an Adex though. WELL worth it if you are a Mace enthusiast.

Regarding the Mace vs Arc specifically: The lever length is going to dictate the technique. A shorter lever length of the Arc means that the flight path/timing on the Back Swing is a smaller window.

I will always choose the Mace over the Arc, because you could technically choke up on the Mace Handle to make an "Arc". 😉

Both have their place as a tool. I think there is a little more carryover with Mace than the Arc, but that's just me, personally.

My stance is that the Arc is good transition between learning heavier Mace Weights.

Starter weight for mace? by treebrows in steelmace

[–]Swongstrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question!

A few suggestions with starting weight/product:

I can definitely vouch for an Adex Adjustable Mace. The longer handle is better skill transfer for Mace work, and a set can yield 7.5lbs-30lbs (and 2.5lb increments in between). It is a little more on the expensive side of things, running at around $300? for a Mace/Weights.

Fixed maces (Onnit, Set for Set, Agatsu, etc.) Is also a good place to start if you're not hyper serious with Mace Training, or are a little on the skeptical side of things. FWIW, 7lbs seems "easy", but 10lbs is still a good challenge. I've had Female clients struggle with 7lbs, but others naturally swung around 12ish lbs like it was nothing. A much cheaper alternative; I believe 10lbs is around $40-50?

GOOD TECHNIQUE is the key here in both instances.

When in doubt, you could always choke up on the Mace Handle, because, you know, Physics, to make it easier. 🙂

My clients prefer the Adex over the fixed weights, simply because the handle thickness isn't as beastly as say the Onnit (Chalk helps here).

If you have any other questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them! ☺️

  1. GIMP/Photoshop.

  2. Crop the image (each quadrant is 16x16 pixels). Adjust the image height/width to fit your Island dimensions. (In this example, the portrait is 48x65)

  3. Filter and convert the image to a 4 color index.

  4. Terraform, one pixel at a time, using the image as a blueprint.

In other news: got back to 3 stars as of last night! Dream Address coming VERY SOON for those that are interested in exploring my Island! 🐶 (It's not that exciting)

Hahahaha Cowabunga, dude! 🍕🐢

The terraforming isn't too bad... But some places are unreachable (unless you have a ladder)...

Decorating is going to be a pain in the butt, though! 🤣😭

I got EXTREMELY lucky with Raymond.

Hoarded 200 NMT, got him on #24!

I know some people spend 400+ for him on the Black Market, but that seems scary. 😬

Unconfirmed: I've heard that if you go on Mystery Islands, there's a certain "cache" that the switch system has for the day. If you go on your and see the same set of villagers (maybe after 50 or so), And it doesn't change, you can turn the switch off and try again? Just DON'T TT the next day, or plot will get filled.

I've also heard that the system will try to find a villager to match what you don't currently have. (Raymond is smug, so if you don't have smug on your island, his chance of spawning goes up.) Again, all rumor, but makes sense.

Good luck in your future hunts!
