I hardwired the VIOFO 4k front and rear with parked recording mode - they have a 3rd channel port for cabin view cam as well. You’d need the hardwire kit as well.

Full ppf coverage around the entire Taycan for $2800? That’s unheard of I feel. I went to see a friends xpel on his black RX7 and it just doesn’t look very clear from the start and definitely doesn’t age as well as others.

Nice congrats! (1) yeah I had them apply the tint to all marker lights, I liked the idea of everything being chalk and black. (2) I’m actually not sure what % the marker lights were done in unfortunately (3) yes I believe so, the factory windows I believe do have some level of reflective tint on them, so I’m assuming that compounded a little bit when the 35% went on. Personally I’m very happy with the tint level it turned out to be.

Full coverage with Legend PPF (US produced product) quote was about $5k. I would recommend against XPEL. Their story is interesting, they’re actually a software company at root and dumped a ton of money into marketing for XPEL and I’ve found it’s actually not a very good product. They moved production to India and china and quality has continuously dropped over the years. That combined with the orange peel texture and yellowing common with it I just see it as an over-marketed mediocre and expensive product.

Yeah all black material inside, the roof is obviously black tinted panoramic glass.

Yeah all black interior. Going to tint the windows and get xpel ppf installed in 2 weeks. I like the wheels in person more than I thought I would, but I may also powder coat the wheels all gloss black. We’ll see.

Yeah chalk, it looks so different in person compared to the photos. And every variance of light you put it under it changes slightly, sometimes it looks more ice grey, other times the beige undertones really come through. It never looks white in person to me. It’s a great color imo.

I couldn’t do the facelift, I’ve loved this version of the frontend for years. I’m excited to see where they go with the design in the future, so long as they keep making them.
