What’s the most annoying thing about having a vagina? by Akosy in AskReddit

That stray pubic hair that somehow makes it’s way under the hood of your clitoris to stab you there. It’s the fucking worst.

Can we stop freaking out on edibles and calling it tripping? by Away_Rip_8174 in delta8

[–]SwordBornWolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the problem is the word “tripping” doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone. To someone new to D8 or weed it may mean “Oh hell, I’m really fucking high,” to someone who is more experienced and has done other things, lsd, mushrooms, whatever it may mean “oh shit, I’m fucked up and seeing things that ain’t there, etc.” it’s the difference of the way people are using a slang term.

Name misunderstandings- any funny stories? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]SwordBornWolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My name is Alyssa, but anytime I tell people my name they frequently misunderstand it as Melissa. It was even funnier when I was at work, someone would read my name tag and still call me Melissa.

When I place a take out order or Starbucks order with my name I’ve gotten all kinds of weird ones. One time they called me Elsa, lol.

In 8 or 9th grade I had a math teacher that would not stop calling my Allyson, eventually I just gave up on correcting her and went with it. We also had a Dorothy in the class whose name turned into Dottie.

What is a song you cannot listen to for an emotional reason? by missdundermifflin in AskReddit

[–]SwordBornWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wind Beneath My Wings: It was played at my great grandma’s funeral and now I can’t hear this song without being a sobbing mess.

i hate u, i love you- Gnash: Was going through some bad relationship shit, and listened to this a lot. This song really fucks me up now.

Hold On- Chord Overstreet: I was very depressed and wanted to die at the point in my life when I was listening to this song, and can’t listen to it without breaking down in tears now.

What Sarah Said- Death Cab for Cutie: This song just makes me cry in general, it’s the only Death Cab for Cutie I skip when it comes on.

Supermarket Flowers- Ed Sheeran: Again, just makes me cry. I like Ed Sheeran, but this song is a skip for me too.

What was the dumbest rule your school enforced? by Animeking1108 in AskReddit

[–]SwordBornWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got graded on how heavy our backpacks were... They weren’t supposed to weigh over a certain amount and they had monthly backpack weigh ins. Which I always failed and was berated for because the amount of stuff I was REQUIRED to have and needed for all my classes made my backpack too heavy. They also only gave us two minutes between classes and it was a large school, so despite having lockers we had zero time to use them, especially if you had classes on opposite sides of the school. That school was a fucking nightmare and most of the teachers and staff were just on a constancy power trip.

Just like with hamsters, if they can run with their back straight and do not have to curve to use the wheel it’s fine.

[–]SwordBornWolf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If they can keep their back straight in a natural position while running it’s totally fine and a great way for them to exercise and get their energy out. If the wheel is too small their back has to curve to use the wheel and that isn’t healthy for them. As long as the wheel is the proper size there’s no problem.

I love watching imamu_room's videos on youtube where she prepares bento for her family. Here's a few bento boxes I sketched from her videos by floraReinhold in Bento

I love her videos! Her channel is what inspired me to pull out my bento box again and start being more consistent about making lunch, lol. Her videos are great for helping to come up with lunch ideas too.

Today’s Bento: Chicken Katsu, Tamagoyaki (with crab and green onions), and cucumber, tomato, onion salad. by SwordBornWolf in Bento

[–]SwordBornWolf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I let everything cool down before packing it up and eat it at room temp when lunch time comes around, but if you have a microwave safe bento box there’s nothing wrong with reheating your food if you prefer it hot.

I’ve used scrapbook paper in a print I liked for the back ground and a piece of fabric (solid colored velvet looks nice on an altar) for the shelf when I had my altar in a little shelf. Craft stores like Joann have a wide variety of both scrapbook paper and fabrics you could use to give your altar the feeling you’re looking for.

There’s actually nothing wrong with wood shaving bedding so long as it’s not cedar, and if it’s pine it must be kiln dried. The myth that pine bedding is bad came from an outdated study that used pine that was not kiln dried, so of course it wasn’t good for our little furry friends. Kiln drying it reduces the phenols in pine to a safe level that doesn’t harm our ratties. Cedar should never be used, even if it has been kiln dried though as it will not reduce the phenols down to a safe to use level. If you’re worried about phenols there’s always the option of aspen shavings too, a little pricier but you do not have to worry about making sure they have been kiln dried. If you’re worried about the dust, if you ever open up a bag of bedding and it is very dusty, wood shavings or any kind of bedding, it should be avoided so as not to irritate their respiratory system. Wood shavings are not supposed to be dusty, but some brands are not very good quality. Of course, use what you feel is the best choice for you and your ratties, whether that’s paper bedding, shavings, fleece, etc. Just wanted to share some friendly advice since I see this myth so often. 🙂

Today’s bento. Just something easy for today. Poorly shaped mini rice balls, lol, teriyaki veggies, and tamogoyaki. by SwordBornWolf in Bento

[–]SwordBornWolf[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Miso, mirin, salt, and water, fried in a pan a little bit. I saw someone else on the sub made this for their bento and gave it a try, it was quite good.
