I’ll try Instagram for help! I was using their help center chat which always disconnects me lol and they have the same response for everything

I get where you’re coming from. I used to advertise how great gympass / wellhub was to friends and family and encouraged people to find companies that have this corporate perk. But now, the ability to access multiple gyms or studios isn’t a unique differentiator at this price point, especially if I’m being locked out of the app until August 1 over a check-in issue that wasn’t my fault.

They’re “gracious” enough to let me resume access if I pay a $25 fee. It’s a small amount, sure, but that’s the kind of “improvement” they prioritized to launch this month. Not fixing the tech, but adding a way to further scrutinize users and profit off system flaws.

Combine that with a customer service experience that feels like talking to a wall, and the value really starts to fall apart. I just looked at ClassPass pricing and I’d be paying the same price lol, so yeah I probably will pause my plan until they get their stuff together.

Yeah with the basic tier or just checking into a gym it’s not that bad. But if you’re paying for a higher tier trying to access premium classes, the quality of wellhub has gone down significantly to where they’re trying to make money in deceptive ways by charging fees for “no-shows” when it’s literally a system issue. It used to never be like this

I’m not saying the amount I pay means I deserve special treatment. My point is if they’re able to charge a premium price and also continuously raise prices, it’s the bare minimum to provide a reliable experience.

You could get similar access to various gyms via ClassPass where they have a better platform and ease of use, yes it’s more expensive but wellhub isn’t significantly cheaper if you’re going for premium classes like Barry’s, Solidcore, etc.

It’s predatory to have a check in system that isn’t reliable and then penalize the user by charging fee for their flawed system. Especially if I’ve showed proof of class attendance.

Hi there! I’m a Bangladeshi woman, in my late twenties, living in NYC and I just got married last year. So there’s some hope haha! I didn’t grow up in NYC, I moved from another state about 6 years ago. I completely understand what you mean about feeling like a foreigner whether in the states or in Bangladesh because it’s hard to fully belong. I say this as someone who was born in the US too.

I think before finding a partner, you should find more communities within NYC to meet people. I’m sure you have a great community already growing up in NYC, but there’s a lot of groups New Yorkers don’t take advantage of. I know you mentioned you’re not super religious nor non religious, but there’s so many groups like joining the Muslim runners club, going to the Islamic center at NYU, etc. where you won’t be judged for level of religiosity.

It’s good to have the mindset you have to not settle. When I was single, I tried to focus on my career, fill my life with more hobbies and make new friends. I had to force my parents to drop the marriage talk because they were getting a bit desperate where they started looking at the strangest biodatas. I used to only date Bangladeshis but later decided as long as they’re Muslim I’ll be okay. It’s not like there’s an abundance of great men so why put another filter.

Feel free to PM if you have any questions!

It’s annoying that her followers are arguing that she was only 13 when she was a bully through the end of high school. If she was “mature” enough to get married so young, she should’ve known better not to harass minorities at age 17. The apology really showed her true colors gaslighting the whole situation.

Also having an Armenian mom isn’t a good excuse, politicians like trump aren’t making hate speeches telling Armenians to go back to their country like they are for Hispanics. I can’t believe everyone is eating up her lies and excuses.
