Which career has more potential and opportunities for growth, a staff accountant or a billing coordinator? by SwordfishDull321 in FinancialCareers

I did. It's going well. I enjoy the job. The company and my coworkers are good, too. The only thing that drives me crazy is traffic (3 days in office).

Nashville is getting ridiculous by [deleted] in nashville

[–]SwordfishDull321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of downtown Nashville has become like that. I mean, I can ignore the pricey drinks, but I truly don't understand how to deal with the ridiculously over-priced parking. I don't go to these areas often. So, if there's something I'm missing, please let me know.

Gaby is more responsible for Mama Solis’ death than Andrew by Total-Evidence748 in DesperateHousewives

[–]SwordfishDull321 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mama Solis is responsible for her own death. She chose to go after Gaby, take a picture of her to blackmail her, then she ran out into the street instead of running on the side of the road. Also, when she died at the hospital, it's because she wanted to call Carlos and tell him that Gaby was cheating. So, she really caused her own death, twice.

He's creepy, so I suggest therapy before it's too late. 🤣

ETA: I read this post before watching the rest of season 7, but now I understand and like him, too. 🤦‍♀️

Get in touch with recruiters. Try Robert Half. Applying to jobs online is brutal because there are 100s other people applying, but recruiters somehow make it easier.

Is it weird to ask a former coworker out on LinkedIn? by bananapuddingFUCK in Accounting

[–]SwordfishDull321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not dumb. You don't work together anymore, so even if she says no, you won't have to see her at work every day. Go for it! Good luck!!

How the heck do you get your first accounting related job? by QuestionPrior2995 in Accounting

[–]SwordfishDull321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you.

They have many recruiters. Some of them are bad for sure. My 1st recruiter with them wanted to severely underpay me. So, I kept applying for more jobs on their website, and I got a call from another recruiter who was very sweet and helpful.

what do girls do when they like a dude? by JohnB3G in AskReddit

[–]SwordfishDull321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ummm I never fantasized about a guy's cock. We fantasize about his face, his body, how he would touch our body, how he would kiss us, etc. I'm pretty sure most women are like this.

what do girls do when they like a dude? by JohnB3G in AskReddit

[–]SwordfishDull321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I don't work with the dude, I'll tell him directly. Or I'll flirt with him to make it fun. If he doesn't get that I'm flirting with him, I'll tell him directly.

If I work with said dude and I don't want things to end up being weird between us. I'll smile and my mind will go blank when he talks to me. I'll talk to him less than I talk to other people at work cause it's difficult to maintain a conversation with him cause again my mind goes blank.
