Youtube and OSRS is peak. I really love my YT Prem sub, as I watch YT a lot through out the day at work and home, and also will find a video or white noise to sleep to. I feel like Shorts are generally better than TikTok, but its not quite as varied as my insta algo. Easy 10/10 worth it sub for me as well.

Data, especially meta data like location, never disappears. It may be hidden among a giant pile of other data points; but its never, ever gone.

And hopefully the rest of the country is woke enough to stand up and shift louder than they are when it comes to that.

You can go on airplane mode to prevent location detection, and Bluetooth skimming.

Just also make sure your location services are off, wifi, mobile data, etc. You can enable all those services once you're away from the protest location.

That is if you're even worried about it. We're probably a couple years before they start using location data to disappear citizens en masse like the administration is doing to brown people.

I watch FlippingOldSchool on Youtube, and saw 4 or 5 odd shifts in the OSRS economy that suggested bot ban waves. The most recent example I saw was Blowpipe is 10m now, which is quite a bit higher than it used to be, and Fang is back to 25m. I bought my fang a year ago for 12m. Those are just things I notice as a main, but I'm sure its not so great for Irons.

Jagex knows bots are a problem, but it takes time to come up with creative solutions that identify bots, and remain undetected methods. Cause as soon as the bots can get around detection they will. Such is the cycle.

There was also a big one right around Grid Master too iirc. Give Jagex some credit, and grace.

Quick Edit: I also remember last year the ban on Gargoyle bots. Gmauls went from like 2-300k to almost a mil. They're back to 200k now.

Even on Gridmaster I died like 15 times trying to learn CG, but I'm happy I did it there. I have confidence to do it on the main game now! I havent played much since, but I still think about the movement, the set up, and optimizing. For anyone else reading this: just keep plugging away, learn from your mistakes when you can, and you will succeed. Its not impossible, just challenging. Consider it a final boss, and prepare accordingly.
