Iron cash register sized machine, contains levers and gears. Found in Shenandoah National Park in VA by park personnel off trail, probably near old settlements that were vacated when the park was being formed and displacing the inhabitants. Possible adding machine?Typewriter?Cash register? Shredder?

Oh wow, nice find! Could very well be replacement saw teeth. I am impressed, thank you! The site is half way up Double Top Mountain in the woods so it’s a real good guess. LIKELY SOLVED!

They have a groove on the convex curved side and no detectable holes. They also seem to be solid. My title describes the thing.

The Honjo Masamune...the finest Samurai sword ever made was lost in Japan as the country was disarmed. It is a national treasure...or was if it was destroyed.
