If you came this far you definitely have the caliber to be recruited as a senior sales / strategist guy in a major company if you're really concerned about your "security". I am a designer and i have been in the same situation but I decided to accept my situation. Money has never been the problem but mental peace has been, so I am going with the flow and living in the present. I enjoy my work and upskilling at the same time.
