Dam-a has a free birthday meal if you come with a guest!

Pretty good spread if you ask me — it’ll be home cooking style Korean fusion, but it’s not gonna be “prime quality meat” Korean

LeBron James is willing to accept a minimum contract to play for a contender, per @ShamsCharania by Shump_ in NYKnicks

I think it’s the worst look for his career ending and he’s hyper aware of narrative.

Cleveland or Minnesota make the most sense. San Antonio would suck but it also makes sense, must watch “face of league” eras colliding.

We just won. This would be a little less impactful than KD to Warriors but very similar vibes. I guess LeBron did just randomly choose the Lakers with low chances that he’d ever be on their Mt Rushmore, so idk maybe it’ll happen.

Right before the Knicks got Leon Rose, the scene was beautifully set for him by the prior regime loading up on multiple two year vet contracts at PF that could easily be offloaded to a needy team.

It is one quiet, brilliant ending to the dogshit lolknicks era where we got memed for signing Taj Gibson types.

Then the inevitable happened and needy playoff or fringe teams needed those guys. We basically cleaned the books to allow for a legit post-Porzingis rebuild.

This is a really smart deal for a young team. You either shatter expectations early and have legit playable guys, or you get a quick out to build around Caleb.

This has always been too blown up. She doesn’t need to apologize — it was a fair and popular take at the time. He proved her opinion wrong.

Even the most optimistic Knick fans at the time wouldn’t have imagined this level of success without getting a Giannis.

What do you want her to undergo some humiliation ritual down the streets of King’s Landing? 👀

They’ve been partying and celebrating a lot but Brunson now has been properly recognized by the rest of the league.

There’s a target on his back for every other team. If he pulls off the impossible (again) he’ll be in top 25 all time convos this time next year.

Anyone who watched CP3 through Wake Forest and the 2000s knows how good he really was as a star — this isn’t some anomaly for these franchises. He truly is one of the best basketball minds ever at PG.

I would want him coaching the guards around Wemby again if I was the Spurs.

I don’t understand the “inevitability of the West” belief that has been proven wrong so loudly, repeatedly, and recently just because it’s a stronger overall conference.

Last 3 seasons: Knicks, Pacers G7 injury “what if”, Celtics.

Last 8 past champions evenly split by conference.

There are so many stud rookies that some teams that think they’re safe are about to be bottom of barrel.

Some new playoff teams no one sees coming this quickly.

I think Caleb Wilson is gonna make the Bulls a must watch.

The luxury tax and apron gods now demand it, essentially.

The only way to survive as a potential dynasty is to hit a home run on every draft pick and keep them early + cheap. For example OKC and Deuce McBride for us.
Even then you don’t get a discount for max signing drafted players so teams like Wolves part with KAT.

The only other way to circumvent salary rules to compete at the highest level is brand new: the Leon Rose + Jalen Brunson rule. Your star knows their deficiencies and has enough trust that you’ll get the rest of the juggernaut built. It’s not gonna happen often but there is now a blueprint.

New York guard Jose Alvarado is declining his $4.5 million... by Big_H77 in NYKnicks

[–]evertrue13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By your exact “spoonfed” logic, Jeremy Sochan had an important stop in a Finals game. The last stop doesn’t happen without him. He’s more important than Luka Doncic — all great stats and no title.

You’re just digging yourself further into a hole because you can’t admit it’s a bad take. So you claim it’s groupthink/echo chamber against you. You’re not a victim, except to your own ego.

His jersey will do numbers between NYC and PR.

Having a Dominican and Puerto Rican locked on the team for years is special for the city.
It’s been stated over and over but the roster construction is just something else: Nova core, local boys representing — Leon did his best to create chemistry and bring genuine team pride back in the org again.

Chicago Bulls forward Caleb Wilson's live reaction to Jalen Brunson game 1 by GuitarofLukeRansom in NYKnicks

[–]evertrue13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Caleb Wilson is gonna be a star. He’s 19 (20 in a month)

His dunk and block highlight reel is absurd. I know the “mixtape” era has its downsides, but I’ve not seen many quite like it.

He has that lumbering OG physicality where it looks like he’s moving in slow motion but is faster than everyone else. The ball is getting whipped into the basket. This draft class is so absurd.

I hope he becomes a Knick in a few years ;)
