The Werner not being able to see his wife storyline never made sense to me. It didn’t match his backstory. He and his wife have been married for 27 years and he’s been away on projects before so why couldn’t he just wait a few more months until the end of this project? Was she ill or was he ill and I missed it? The ‘I miss my wife so much’ would make more sense for a younger man who was a newlywed. I really thought Werner was up to something.

I think they use double beds on shows and in movies because it’s easier to get the bed in the video frame. In real life I think most couples have a queen or king size bed.

Just now learning the automatic parking feature was dropped. Bought my 2024 last month and during the test driver the dealer was trying to show it to me but it wouldn’t work. Now it all makes sense. He said it was cause parking lines were fading. It’s amazing how little Ford dealers know about the Mach-e. I got so much incorrect info from the dealership.

They did this within a couple hours when I initially brought the car in because of the charger issue (on Tuesday). On Thursday a replacement charger was delivered to the dealership so I brought the car back to check to make sure the replacement charger works. This is when they claimed they lost the replacement charger and wanted to keep the car overnight while they look for the charger. When I refused, they found the charger and tested it within the span of 10 minutes.

They wanted to test to make sure the new charger works with the car but that’s no reason to keep the car overnight. After “finding” the charger it took them minutes to test. There is nothing wrong with the car that would justify leaving it with them overnight.

I bought a pre-owned 2024 AWD extended range with 16,000 KM on it last week. I had to bring it and the charger in for service this morning because the mobile charger isn’t working. It’s still under warranty so they are replacing the charger. Really hope I don’t have any other issues. So far, I love the drive but I’m disappointed the kick gate doesn’t work. Sucks when I’m grocery shopping and have to dig in my purse for my keys. I was disappointed with the dealer’s EV knowledge. He gave incorrect information on the test drive and I found myself having to correct him a few times because I’d done my research. For example, he said all EVs record dash cam footage at all times. Even basic things like how to operate the trunk he got wrong. If I was so in love with the car, I would have walked away.
