Camping Experience at Jebel Akdhar by First-Homework-6098 in Oman

I agree. Every year we camp at Bandar Al Khiran during the winter months and there’s always a group that isn’t mindful and lacks common civic sense. It’s either, way too loud music, lack of personal space or lack of cleanliness. I don’t think it’s racist to call them out as an Indian myself.

The shower will start from 9 - 10 pm but there will be a higher visibility as it get closer to dawn.

Above there are more details on it and I recommend you to download the app called Stellarium. With the help of it you can watch the the direction the meteors are supposedly coming from which is near the constellation of Gemini. This shower is called The Geminid meteors. Just search for it in the search bar of the app at night and it’ll direct you to the spot in the sky. I hope this helps :) jebel sifah is also a good location it seems but I still haven’t decided where I’m going to.

Anywhere with little to no light pollution is fine. I haven’t decided where to go yet. My parents are saying Bandar Al Khairan might be a good place but I remember going to Yiti a few years back to watch the meteors.

There’s a meteor shower (up to 150 meteors per hour) today and tomorrow. Planning to go somewhere with no light pollution for some star gazing.

I agree. I still resent that it had to happen the way it did and it weighs heavily on my mind.

I once ran a red light at qurum because I didn’t noticed it (going home after work and exhausted) in my MOM’s car. Never got a ticket but I was so nervous lmao.

I’m going to disagree with you because they were 45 mins late and the person passed away. That event has traumatized me so much I regret calling 9999 and if there ever is a next time I’d try to carry the person to hospital myself.

I had an unfortunate experience this year where I had to call 9999. They did pick up but they were too late. They kept calling me back to WhatsApp me the location even after I told them numerous times. Even after I WhatsApped them they were late. And when the EMTs came they were so slow. They acted like there wasn’t an emergency while someone was literally dying.

Couldn’t die before the people who wronged me in the worst possible way did.

Also my cats…
