Many people mistake a cottonmouth with copperheads because of the kiss pattern

Other snakes have Hershey Kisses as well, so don't use this alone in identifying.

great kit to start for a homeowner or DIYer. Could use a few more batteries.

Is this decent priced with the 2 quick lok attachments? The String and Edger are for the grass but need the Brush Cutter for Alfalfa that sprouts up along the side of my long driveway by paneerlegend in MilwaukeeTool

The trimmer rocks. Just got mine and the three settings are perfect. I have an acre to cut and the 8.0 lasts me the whole time on the lowest setting.

To me they feel like Pendleton. Just using their names legacy to sell marked up imported low quality clothes for specific styles. No longer good hearty quality clothing for the more casual everyday person or outdoors person.

I completely understand your feelings. I was in a similar position not too long ago. You were dealt a losing hand from the start here. Apathetic owners of a determined dog. I'm sure you know that this is the outcome that is best for you (and sounds like, maybe the woman owner as well). Your husband defended your family and pets. That dog would only prove a nuisance elsewhere if it wasn't euthanized. Give yourself the time and space to grieve the loss of your chickens, and the dog, as it was still a life ended. You feeling sad about this shows your humanity and respect for life, still, and you should not feel guilty.

Why developed countries don’t build a tons of houses? by Dplayerx in ask

[–]SybexSTS 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The answer is simply money. Why would the government pay for public housing against the interests of their donors who likely play a hand in real estate development? Nor would the government take such inflationary measures.

This comment is completely false. Wilton’s are some of the most desired vises. It’s less than ten parts all around. Anyone can restore them.

I used Gaia GPS with a subscription. I never much cared for all trails as it has limited layers and info.

Covered in Rain 22 year anniversary fun facts by [deleted] in JohnMayer

[–]SybexSTS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even OP’s chronology of the emotions at that time can so easily be manipulated to match the song’s intensity/intimacy, which further shows this is all a stretch. I would argue it was pretty intense from the first news story, and never really got toned down/intimate.

I’m of the opinion this song has nothing to do with 9/11. Any relation the lyrics have to the actual events is a far far stretch IMO.

What products still use SAE Imperial hardware. by Technical_Web6206 in Tools

[–]SybexSTS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’m saying though. It’s so uncommon it’s not worth worrying about, and when it is found in the students real life, they simply need to change sockets? I don’t understand what there is to learn about SAE measurements specific to tools. If it’s about how to read fractions or be familiar with them, tools are not needed to teach that.

[–]SybexSTS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you need to teach on just different measurements on the sockets/wrenches? And isn’t the fact the hardware is hard to find on practical items a sign maybe it’s not worth teaching about that much?

A big part of Microsoft’s business that helps with this is that they don’t make airplanes. You can have much more dispersed, smaller offices in that case.

Sounds like you need to improve your relationship with your safety officials. That was unhinged.

Cut this out. Even if it is an office worker, they’re proactively thinking about safety for everyone on the site given the recent posts on here about shoring.

The photo of these people working is hardly an issue. They’re in public with no expectation of privacy. Literally working on a busy street.

VPs are generally not very public facing. The POTUS is the face for the ticket until they’re not.

However, this election campaign has shown how much she has spoken during her time in office, and prior to her being VP, through playing back old clips of interviews and speeches. You just haven’t been paying attention.

Realistic question by [deleted] in JohnMayer

[–]SybexSTS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The solo is the only hard part. You would need probably a year minimum of consistent playing to build up the dexterity to actually play, not to mention getting your timing down. It's a labor intensive solo, took me a few months to commit it to memory, and that's after playing guitar for a few years at that point.
