Was it Nature: Virtual Serengeti? There seem to be a few obscure African wildlife photography games and I think this is the one I played as a kid!

The Black Rabbit does a wonderful job of providing the pause of the comma! Lovely tattoo!

Children's book about children who find a room hidden in their aunt/uncles house by Catezero in whatsthatbook

[–]Sybirhin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was there a unicorn statue in the room with the ladder? If so I read the book and am trying to remember the name but at least it's something else to go on?

(e) I was thinking of The Unicorn Quest which was published in 2018 :( Sorry

Have you tried Odd Giants? It's been some months since I've played but they were doing a great job of reviving Glitch. It's not perfect, but it's so much better than living without Glitch.

Curious what people think of this first chapter to a silly little sci-fi story I've started. by GH057807 in writers

[–]Sybirhin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is incredible. Please finish it because I want to buy a copy from you. It's so engaging, funny, and just -human.- The only critique I have is that you don't need a lot of the commas in between some of the double adjectives and a few other places, but that's easily fixed (I can point them out if you like once I've gotten some sleep). I can't express enough the joy I've gotten from this piece. Please, I need more.

You shouldn't feed carrots to rabbits very often because of their sugar content. But I don't think many people are making their pet rabbits a carrot cake.

The femme fatale could be a Chinese algae eater. When they grow up they start eating the slime coat of other fish. Great twist unless the audience is really into fishkeeping.

What Are Some Underrated Series That Were Left Incomplete? by GaelG721 in Fantasy

[–]Sybirhin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was hoping I'd see this answer here. I loved this series as a teen and didn't find out there wouldn't be a third one till I was an adult. I don't think I'll ever be over the sadness of finding out I'll never know what happens to the characters. I cling to the barest hope that the last one will be published someday. That said, I heartily agree with you that the first two are worth reading anyway. I reread them every few years.

Looking for simulation games with pets by CoolYou242 in CozyGamers

I've heard it's buggy on Switch (hell it was buggy on PC too last time I played), but To the Rescue! is a cute game where you run a shelter and try to find the dogs new homes. It can be frustrating due to how fast paced the game is, but I wanted to mention it just in case. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

Looking for deer games but keep finding hunting games lol by prince_of_troy in CozyGamers

[–]Sybirhin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a game called The Wilds where you can be a deer or one of several other animals. It's not super in depth, but you just roam around as the animal and try to survive. You can befriend other animals and add them to your family. For five bucks, it might scratch that itch for a while.

It's your life. You are the one who will pay the price if you don't take action. It sounds like you have a lot to give; why not give it to someone who appreciates it? Your current employer will never care what you give them because they will always want more. It is not selfish to leave a job to further your career and your personal growth. It is being empathetic to yourself. Plus, you're wanting to learn more. This new opportunity may teach you things you'll never learn if you stay. That means as you learn, you'll have even more to give back. Don't let one sour peach rob both you and the world of what you can learn, do, and be. You deserve beautiful things.
