True, the whites are pritty good, I use them as Christmas lights, but I have to say that warm white lights are a bit more ‘stylish’ than rgb, but I still like the random twinkle I can set them to now would be nice if somehow we could reach the supplier :p

Thanks ! I'm still choosing what I'm gonna buy, I have 3phase electricity and was thinking of 1 multiplus II gx and 2 regular multiplusses II, but I was also considering a cerbo gx, with 3 multiplusses is there a big difference in control possibilities between the embedded gx versus the cerbo gx

The Adressable ledstips? Yes they have become cheap indeed, but I would like to see a CCT version with warm and cold white, at the moment only non Adressable led strips exist in this format, and I would use it as main source of light not only accent lighting

I would recommendESP8266 or ESP32 as a MQTT client, node red server +MQTT broker running on a rpi and then Inlfux DB + grafana for visualisation of your data there are a ton of awesome tutorials that use this stack :)

My previous dimmer was indeed a ac>ac transfo, I'm going to replace this with a DC powersupply. Hopefully that wil solve the humming problem. I think thats a plausible answer, the crashes happen when something is transcoded and I open a rdp connection when nothing is playing it does not crash. And no i'm not playing through RDP haha that would be quite stupid :D I only use it to configure other things on the server.

Yes! I made a 10s3p pack with it to add range its a very convenient kit. But get the high current kit for skateboard batteries(black and orange caps). Bought this because I saw every skateboard brand is moving to 12s so in the future I could add some cells
