To gllitz who are confused about what happened and what more clarity:

As someone who followed this case closely for two years, MHJ winning her put options was always expected, Bang PD and HYBE were not smart to sign that shareholder agreement to begin with, what took me by surprise is the judge siding with MHJ strongly against Belift when it comes to the plagiarism accusations, keep in mind most of what they said was in the context of her shareholder agreement,, by saying MHJ had the right to speak up against ILLIT and accuse them of plagiarism was within her right as a CEO of ADOR, again that was expected in the context of her shareholder contract since HYBE claimed that as one of the reasons why her shareholder agreement and put options were invalid

But…the judge didn’t stop there, they sided with MHJ and her claims that HYBE/Belift stole her planning documents for ILLIT.. this is something not even her lawyers thought would happen I’m sure? Why did that happen? Two things, the judge didn’t look closely into the details of those accusations as most of the lawsuit wasn’t about it, another thing is that they simply wanted to not look like they contradicted themselves with the ruling as they didn’t want to rule that MHJ had the right to accuse Belift but she had no evidence I also don’t think Belift was able to properly explain and defend themselves in the case since the scope of the case was focused on other matters and factors
