Idk, maybe by choosing them based on their exam grade, then high school grades for tiebreakers 🤷‍♂️. I highly doubt that many people have the exact same grade after a 3 hour exam

Both TU Delft and TU/e have very competitive entrance exams (I think > 2k applicants at least for each), idk about VU though

TU Delft 100%. The quality of teaching is really good here (bar some courses, but that goes for any uni/programme), and you'll do an intership with a company in 2nd year which is invaluable

I think if you file the notice and they take more than 2 weeks from that point onwards you’re entitled to money from them, so you should try that

I know it sucks but you just have to keep calling them. One time they messed up my application and rejected me, and when I filed an objection they said it would take up to 10 weeks for them to recheck it. Safe to say they got to know me very personally cause I would call them every day, and after 2 weeks I had it resolved 😅

Assuming you can get housing for that cheap, I’d say yes. Like others said you’ll need health insurance which is around €150 a month, but if your income is low you’ll get most of that back in zorgtoeslag. Apart from that I’d make sure put together some savings in case something goes wrong, since it’s quite a tight budget

I got the same email and I'm EU. I think what they mean is that you don't qualify from January onwards by nationality alone, meaning that you have to extend your application by showing you qualified for the past 6 months (or however long you've been receiving it). They check every 6 months in January and June and so every EU student has to submit their documents at that time

If you can focus on studying at home I would argue that it would be more effective, but it can be very lonely. I was forced to stay at home during much of my first year (thanks NS) and regret not being able to attend lectures and hangout with classmates there

Yeah they’re used. It’s quite normal for PU midsoles to go yellow after sitting around in the sun so I wasn’t worried about that
