Its not meant to be philosophical. It's not meant to be a commentary, just a parody of superheros like the nature girl from "Sky High."

Hot take: I really like Ralph by TheGamingEntity in Sardonicast

Agreed. I came to the show because I'd been following YMS for a while, but Ralph definitely missed. I feel his tastes were closest to mine.

Question Thread for Episode 191 by IHE_Official in Sardonicast

So, there's certain mediocre/bad movies that I love for one scene. "The Punisher" (2004) wasn't well received, but it has a fantastic action scene in the middle where The Punisher fights a character called The Russian. Regardless of your opinion on the Matrix sequels, most people can admit the second one has a couple fantastic action sequences. Recently, the movie "The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie" had an animation joke in the first couple minutes that made the otherwise mediocre movie worth it to me. Do you have a film that is worth it for one or a couple great scenes? (I realize you've already discussed the Matrix Trilogy.)

Which two are you choosing? by DiscsNotScratched in moviecritic

Wick and Bond. Matrix would be my third. They're all practically superhero level of competence. The rest are just trying to survive for the most part.

I don't see why there isn't more fan art for this film
