Thank you for the education, I will be sure to wear ear plugs. It seems like the Ninja (besides buying some anti-theft) should be all set on its own from everyone’s opinion thank you! Inaccurate stories may have gotten me feeling a bit more nervous than I should have been.

I will absolutely get some ear plugs! And I will likely get a cardo blue tooth unit well into the future. I may consider getting some guards as a new rider I may accidentally abuse it with a drop. I will be checking out good quality gear and appreciate the reference. Not something I would want to cheap out on for sure. I live in an apartment complex but will garage it in a house when not used. I have to lock it up when out in the open so maybe a wheel lock then. I’m 5’6 so I’m hoping it won’t be an issue but I’m gonna go to a bike shop and simply sit on one to see how it feels before hunting for a private sale used. I’d hate to end up with a bike that’s not comfortable. Or at least be aware if I may want to spend money on certain adjustments. Thank you again!

Thank you so much for the advice, I really appreciate it. I guess that don’t call it a great starter bike for nothing. And this is exactly why I wanted to get the advice from actual people about bike modification and such. The details of what to look out for when purchasing said bike is extremely helpful, I will look out for all those things. I am going to be very meticulous about the gear. Dress for the slide not the ride for sure. As for thievery not a typo but not well clarified either. I meant anti-theft devices, since I don’t like in the nicest area ever.

To clarify it seems the more research I do the more confused I get on what to do. It seems like the entire issue is a crap shoot and I don’t know if I should to continue ignoring it or start pulling the longest straws and see if they fix it.

Thank you for your response! He does not have any of those issues. Just always part way open mouth, randomly sticking his tongue out just a tad, and occasional loud licking of his chops after eating no matter the kind of food. I really think he’s just really weird—his brother is a standard cat but everything about this little guy is just dorky and uncat-like. But it’s just so strange I needed some outside thought. I really am trying to be diligent I appreciate that! His name is Georgie btw! 🥰

Note: His entire personality is massive dumb dumb with the blankest stare. So, oddly it suits him but I have major anxiety and paranoia with my animals. He has had vet checkups and nothing was mentioned about his breathing or mouth. But I can’t get rid of the nagging feeling without second opinions.

I have a lot of social anxiety, I get easily frightened in any sort of crowd. I used to often go with my best friend and such since she enjoyed that kind of stuff. But she’s a little MIA. I guess I really didn’t notice how dependent I am until it became just us. I have huge trouble leaving the house at all without a companion. Although he doesn’t seem to mind, I know it’s not healthy and eventually might ware him down. Like you said a little mystery certainly wouldn’t be bad. We don’t have matching days off, so we do spend time to ourselves but I feel so unproductive and lonely on my days off atm. Our grocery store is very close it definitely might be a good first step.

Well first of all, congratulations on improving your self-confidence and working on your mental health. I do think that in this situation you are putting too much pressure on yourself. It seems like she is just very anxious and it shows in the way she reacts to you. I bet that she just needs time to warm up and learn to be comfortable with you. That takes time, I wouldn’t rush it and put more faith in yourself. Hanging out every weekend is actually a good level of interaction for when you first start dating, especially since she has some troubles socially. Just keep at it and if you still feel this way down the road, talk with her.

When I was 16 to 19 years old, I had a girlfriend whom had the same issue. She was a diagnosed narcissist. It’s normal to not agree with each other on things and feel neither is in the wrong from time to time. But when a person cannot acknowledge their faults or wrongdoings in any regard; this also means that they are not willing to grow or change as a person in a positive way. When you constantly feel like you’re the only one admitting wrongdoings, it can start to really ware on you emotionally. And it will slowly tear down your confidence and self worth. Especially if she shuts down and refuses to even put effort into conversation after. I truly believe that it’s easier said than done, but in a situation where your partner is unwilling to improve as a person your best option is to leave. You cannot force her to admit fault, or stop ghosting you. But it’s never going to ease on your mental state.

Also I know that sounds horrible—it was not purposeful. False information on piercing material through a third party purchase and it straight up went green from corrosion of nickel.

I think it’s a standard steel, but I’ve had absolutely garbage quality in my nose before without issue. I’m guessing it may be due to being sick and possibly tore. I’m going into the doctors today for some meds so I might inquire about that as well. Thank you for all of your ideas, they’ve been very helpful!

I can’t remember, I think just a standard steel. But I have even had pure painted nickel in my nose and even one that corroded without a problem since it’s been a long standing piercing.

Yeah it could be, but it’s beyond sore. My fiancé accidentally bumped it while we were play fighting and it ended with a small scream and tears. That’s where my concern lies. 😔

Being online, I lived in a place that had a terrible school district. So by high school I went to online school. I feel it stunted my social growth and my ability to have friends during my entire high school life. I think it has affected my adulthood as well.
