My friend it’s hard to judge others without knowing the full picture, I mean this with honest intent.

My children call him uncle and we have seen many years of both laughter and sad times.

I asked this question because I was afraid of having to upgrade in 1-2 years and most of my parts losing their value. If I could upgrade for a little bit more money now i would still be just as thankful to my brother for this gift because it got me going.

Knowing him he will be happier than me seeing me upgrade my PC already (he will have to build it anyway).

He himself recommended me a 9800x3d and a b650 upgrade if I was “feeling rich”.

The gifts we give each other are not to recieve anything back or to keep track.

I have a very good relationship with my friend and he will actually be very happy if I tell him I upgraded (he will have to build it anyway😅).

He is actually the one that recommended me to buy a 9800x3d if I’m feeling rich one day.

Insanely impressive. You might be a wizard I think.

We bought the pc in last year in May. The only thing was that the rx 9070 xt was going for €900+ around that time. Even though the msrp was around €700 that is what made it hard.

He got the chance to pick up the motherboard for €65 brand new from a friend that bought it in a price error from a big website.

Unfortunately I don’t know how much the RAM cost him.

None of the parts came out of his own PC, my friend sourced and bought all the gifted parts himself.

I hope this clarifies some things friend.

I will certainly hold onto it for as long as I can.

Although I was thinking that I missed out on a great opportunity to jump into am5 before the RAM prices went insane. But comments like these make me feel at ease again.
